I walked down the stairs to dinner after texting Dean. I noticed that Clara wasn't there. I really need to find out what is up with her. In order for her to pick me up, she had to skip school. Does she do this regularly? I need to find out what she is doing after dinner. I sat down at the table ready to eat.

"So, how was work today sweetie?" Dad asked.

"The Shadow Stalker came and spared with me for the children," Mom said.

"Really?" I asked.

"What does he look like?" Dad asked.

"Has similar styles to Clara, very deep voice," Mom said.

"Anything else?" My dad asked like interviewing a witness.

"He had a lunch date, so has a girlfriend," Mom said.

"Dad, different topic," I said.

"Okay son," Dad said.

"Is there any way for you to find out if we skip school or not?" I asked.

"Yes, we check all the time, why?" Mom said.

"I think Clara skips school," I said.

"We can check right now," Dad said. My dad skipped attendance for Clara on his phone.

"She has perfect attendance," Dad said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yup," Leanna said, "I do too!" I excused myself from the table and walked up the stairs and knocked on the door of Clara's room. She opened the door.

"What's up?" Clara asked.

"Money?" I said.

"Yeah, here," she said as she handed me a duffle bag.

"I thought you were sleeping, but your shoes are on," I said.

"Uh..., go away," she said and closed the door. I went to my room, open the window slowly and silently and saw Clara doing the same. Where was she going? She had another duffle bag and the helmet I made her. She quickly climbed out the window and I noticed a knife on her back. She jumped off the roof into a bush. Easy enough...

I jumped and almost hit the trash can giving away my position. I pulled the hood of my gray coat and followed her to Sam's house. Sneaking to someone's house in the middle of the night. Typically for teenage girls but usually to a boy's house. Was she a lesbian?

Sam opened the door and let her in. I noticed it was a 2 story building from the support it had, but where was the second story. I crossed the street and looked down into the street below me to see a bar. Did Sam run a bar? Was Clara getting drunk? I jumped the cliff onto a recycling bin and walked into the bar unnoticed. I didn't see Clara anywhere but I saw Sam. She was cheering by the ring. Street fighting? I turned to the host.

"Today we have Red Arrow vs Shadow Stalker!" the host shouted followed by cheering. Was the Shadow Stalker a street fighting name. I saw Clara's friend Ryan come out as "Red Arrow". He must watch too much tv. Then, the Shadow Stalker. It was just Clara in the outfit she got with the helmet. Was she actually stealing names now? More importantly, she can fight? The host started the battle. Clara's eyes turned blue like how the tv said the Shadow Stalker's did. The battle was short and easy. Clara easily won. How? She hates karate. Was she the Shadow Stalker? I ran up to Clara.

"Yes, are you a fan?" she asked.

"You fought well," I paused a moment, "Mam'" I said.

"What?" she asked.

"You're a girl aren't you?" I asked.

"How did you know that?" Clara asked.

"Well, the way you hack the school attendance records and how you get your brother to build helmets for you," I said.

"Lance?" Clara asked. I took my hood off my head.

"You can't be here!" she said. She pulled me into a locker room.

"I needed to know the truths," I said.

"Lance you can't tell anyone about this," Clara said.

"Okay, just answer some questions will you?" I asked.

"Fine," Clara said.

"Are you the Shadow Stalker?" I asked.

"Yes," she answered.

"Are you gay?" I asked.

"What? No!" Clara said.

"Mom said the Shadow Stalker had a girlfriend," I said.

"No, that was just free lunch with Ryan," I said.

"Whatever, how long have you been street fighting?" I asked.

"2 days," Clara answered.

"Natural?" I asked.

"Something like that," Clara said.

"Can you hire me?" I asked.

"Why?" Clara asked.

"Because you have money," I said.

"What could you do for me?" Clara asked.

"Find crime for you using an app," I said. I pulled out my phone and quickly hacked into the cameras of the city and spotted a robbery.

"Robbery on 2nd and 9th avenue," I said.

"Thanks, want to come with?" Clara asked.

"Sure," I responded.

That night we stopped a robber and prevented someone getting ran over. We snuck in the house and quickly went to sleep.
