My heart was beating extremely fast. There is still a few hours left before the wedding to get ready. Wow, I can't believe I'm actually getting married today. I sat on my bed thinking. I haven't even thought about our honeymoon yet. Are we even going to have a honeymoon? Tons of thoughts rushed through my head.
I began looking on my phone for a house we can rent for our honeymoon. I found a cute little house on a beach and bought it. I thought it would be special to get one on a beach, because I proposed on a beach, and we're having our wedding next to a beach. So why not stick with the theme?
Aways its almost time for the wedding. I got my suit on and fixed my hair, trying to look as nice as possible.
It's time. I stood at the altar of a little abandoned Church, waiting for Amber to walk down the isle. My heart was beating incredibly fast and I wondered if every guys heart beats this fast. Then suddenly the doors opened and Amber was there walking down the isle. She was wearing a beautiful white dress, holding white flowers, and she has silver/white hair. It's as if an angel just walked in the room. I could tell she was almost as nervous as I was. Everyone was stunned by how beautiful she looked while she walked down the isle. She got to the altar then stood in font of me.
My best friend Jackson was the priest and he said..
"Now, you two hold hands. These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love. That holds yours on your wedding day. These are the hands that will work along side yours as you build your future together. These are the hands that will passionately love you and care for you throughout the years. These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief torments your mind and with the slightest touch, will comfort you like no other. These are the hands that will give you strength when you struggle, and support and encourage you to chase down your dreams. These are the hands that will tenderly hold your children, and help keep your family together as one. These are the hands that will, countless times, wipe the tears from your eyes, tears of sorrow, and tears of joy. And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled with age, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the unspoken tenderness with just a touch. A touch from these hands."
Tears immediately started falling down my face. Everyone thought they were tears of joy... but they weren't. I wish everything Jackson said would come true. I wish I could grow old with Amber and have a house together and have children together... she would be and amazing mother.
"Now August, kiss the bride." Jackson said.
I pulled Amber close and kissed her. Everyone started cheering. Wow I can't believe it, I'm actually married.
Amber held my hand and she was incredibly happy. I wish I could see her this happy forever.
"I love you so much, August!" Amber said happily.
"I love you too."
I asked my other friend to be the photographer and he said yes. I gave him my phone and he started taking pictures.
Now it's time to eat the cake. Amber and I fed each other a piece of cake, she's so cute.
I was having trouble getting the speakers for the music all set up so Jackson came over to help me.
"Hey, how'd I do as the priest?" He said.
"You did great, except one thing." I told him.
"Ok what was it?"
"You forgot the part where Amber and I were supposed to say I do."
"Aw dude I'm so sorry, I completely forgot about that part!"
"Hey calm down, Jackson you did great."
"Thanks man. Hey have you thought about the honeymoon yet?"
"Yeah, I actually rented a place on a beach." I said.
"Oh sweet! How you going to get there, do you want to borrow my car? Oh wait, that's right you failed your driving test." He said and started to laugh.
"Ugh, shut up. Actually can I borrow your car? I know I don't have a license but it's not that far away. And I know how to drive I'm just not that great at it."
"Yeah I guess you can, just don't get arrested alright?"
"Ok, thanks man!"
We eventually got the speakers to work. When the music came on Amber had the biggest smile on her face. She came over to me and asked.
"Hey August, will you dance with me?"
"I um, d-dont know how to dance.." I said embarrassingly
She grabbed my hand and giggled. "I'll teach you."
She took me to the beach, and before I knew it we were dancing for hours.
"Hey Amber, it's getting pretty late do you want to go now? I rented a house we can stay at."
"You did?! Yeah let's go!"
"Alright let's do it."
We said goodbye to everyone and got in the car. I started to panic a little. I drove Amber to Bella's house so she could grab some clothes. Then we started to drive to the honeymoon house.
"Hey August, are we going to sleep together?" She asked.
"U-Um! We don't need to If you don't want to!" I said nervously.
"No! I want to sleep with you, August. If that's ok with you."
"Yeah of course it's ok with me. You're my wife after all."
"Ok good." She said happily.
We arrived at the house safely. I hope Amber didn't notice my horrible driving skills. We took our stuff inside.
"Yay we're here!! This place is beautiful!! Hey August do you want to go swimming with me for a minute?" She asked.
"Yeah sure, let's do it."
We got our swimsuits on and started swimming. She looked so beautiful in the moonlight. I wish she wasn't going to die... I would take her place if I could.
"Hey Amber, you look like you're getting tired. Want to go get some sleep." I asked her
"Yeah let's go."
I picked her up
"Ah! What are you doing?!" She yelled.
"I'll carry you inside." I said and smiled.
She held on tightly and smiled.
We got inside and changed clothes then got in bed. Another day has passed.
