Day 5 - With Her

Warning, there is some 18+ content in this one. I'll let you know when it's coming so you can skip over it if you want.

I woke up and Amber was still sleeping. She was drooling all over my hand. I didn't care though, I thought it was pretty cute to be honest. I managed to get out of bed without waking her up. I'll surprise her by making her breakfast. What does she like though? I'll just make pancakes, everyone likes pancakes right? I just need to run to the store to get the stuff to make pancakes really quick. I should be gone for about ten minutes.

Ok I think I got everything. I was taking the groceries inside and heard Amber crying/screaming really loud. I dropped the bags and ran inside.

"Amber what's wrong?!" I said.

"I thought y-you left me f-forever!" She said still crying

"Amber no, I would never do that. I just went to get groceries."

She wrapped her arms around me and continued crying "Take me with you next time!!"

"Ok ok I will, now please don't cry." Even though there probably won't even be a next time.

I started making pancakes and soon realized I suck at making pancakes.

Amber is going to die in a few days and I want to make sure she experiences most of the beautiful things in life. But I don't know how to do that. We can't have a baby because of obvious reasons. We can't grow old together. We can't buy our own house, we can't buy our own car, we can't raise a child, we can't start a family. There is just so much we can't do. I almost started to cry but I held back the tears.

Amber and I sat at the table and ate our breakfast.

"Did you know you drool when you sleep?" I asked

"What?! No I don't!" She said embarrassingly

"Yes you do, you drooled all over my hand." I started to giggle. She's really cute when she's embarrassed.

"Sorry..." she said.

"Hey its ok, it was pretty cute."

She started blushing like crazy and said, "I love you August."

"I love you too Amber. So what do you want to do today?" I asked

"I don't care what we do, just as long I'm by your side all day. No one else."

"Alright, how about we go see a movie?" I asked

"Ok let's go!"

We got in the car and drove to the movie theater. As we walked in Amber quickly grabbed onto my arm making it clear to everyone that I'm hers. I didn't mind it.

We began watching the movie and about a half hour later Amber fell asleep on my arm. She began snoring, she wasn't snoring loud, but loud enough for people to hear her. I decided to pick her up and carry her out to the car.

I was driving around and she woke up. "Is the movie over?" She asked.

"Yup it probably is."

"Oh my goodness, I fell asleep. I'm so sorry August."

"Don't worry about it, the movie wasn't really that great anyways."

"Is still feel bad though."

"Hey, it's fine. Did you get enough sleep last night?" I asked

"Yeah its not like I stayed up late last night watching you sleep or anything." She said

"You did what?"

"Look a park!" She said while pointing out the window.

"You want to go to the park? That place is for kids."

"Please can we go! I've never been to one before!"

"Really you've never been to a park? Alright I guess we can go."  As soon as I parked the car Amber ran to the park as fast as she could. Wow, she sure acts like a little kid for someone who is almost seventeen.

I watched her as she played and ran around with some little kids.

"Come play with us, August!" She yelled.

"No, I'm fine over here." I yelled back.

Then she ran over to me and grabbed my hand.

"Hey what are you doing?!" I asked as she pulled me over to everyone.

"Let's play hide and seek." She said.

"No thanks, I'm too old for that."

"Felix here is going to find everyone." She said as she patted a little boys back.

"Amber, I'm too old to play hide and seek."

"I dont care." She grabbed my wrist and we started running towards a slide. The slide was small with a ceiling amd it was like a tube shape (I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about.) Somehow we both managed to fit in. She was laying on top of me very close. I could feel her breath.

"Thank you for playing with us." She said.

"N-No problem."

She giggled, then kissed me gently.

Soon after that we were found. We continued playing at the park until it was dark out. Both of us were running around like little kids the whole time. Even after all the children left, Amber and I still were playing. I didn't care about what all the adults thought about me. All I cared about was seeing Amber this happy.

"Hey its getting really late, do you want to start heading home?" I asked.

"Yeah I guess we should. I need a shower anyways." She said.

We drove back to the house and went inside.

I was watching anime like always when I heard Amber yelling from the shower.

"August, I forgot a towel can you bring me one?" She yelled.

"Yeah I'll leave it outside the door."

"No, just hand it to me."

"Alright fine." I closed my eyes and reached into the shower to hand her the towel, then suddenly she grabbed my hand and pulled me in.

"AH" I yelled. I think you can guess what happened after that.

Later we went to bed but tonight was different. Amber didn't sleep next to me. She slept almost completely on top of me. I didn't mind at all to be honest. Another day has passed. There is only two days left.

Sorry this one took me a really long time. I'll try not to take as long next time. Let me know if you have any ideas for the next two chapters. What do you think should happen? And as always let me know if you liked it ^-^
