Nico sighed boredly, tapping his fingers against the wooden counter of the concession stand. The baseball game was already at the bottom of the fourth inning and his team had only scored two points. This wasn't suprising considering how badly their season had been going, but it still was pretty embarrassing to watch. The customers were also pretty light considering that this was a playoff game.

He huffed in sheer boredom, deciding to go to the back and restock the drinks. He  grunted as he lifted up two of the coke cases, tossing a glare towards Dani who was completely entranced in her phone. He didn't even know why she bothered to sign up to work the games when she didn't even do anything. Probably for the WiFi.

Opening the door to the large drink cooler, Nico started to unpack the cans and reorder them accordingly. He sighed impatiently when he tried to reach the back of the top rack, his fingers just barely brushing the cool surface of one of the cans.

"Need some help?" said a cool voice from the counter. Nico jumped in suprise, smacking his hand against the roof of the appliance. He turned around to see a blonde teen leaning on the counter, a smirk placed on his soft lips.

"We have a customer," Dani said distractingly, waving a hand in the air before going back to scrolling through her feed. Nico sighed heavily, walking over to where the other boy was standing. He gave him a polite smile, shoving the girl's shoes off of the counter. She tossed him a mean look before turning around in her seat.

Nico rolled his eyes at her."What do you need?"

The blue eyed boy tapped his chin thoughtfully, making a small noise. "I don't know, what do you have?"

Nico pointed to a sign outside, his face displaying annoyance. "Huge sign right here, can't miss it."

The boy snorted, looking at him. "Are you this rude to all your customers? Not a great way to run a business you know."

Nico rolled his eyes. "Look, you want something or not? Otherwise I'll just move on to someone else."

The other boy cocked his head for a moment, determining whether or not he was about to take a caculated risk. "Well, I don't see your name anywhere on the sign, so I assume you're giving it out for free?"

Nico narrowed his eyes at him, glancing behind the boy to see a small line starting to form. "It's Nico. Now go before I start throwing things."

The boy smiled, straighting his stance. "Will," he replied before turning and walking away. Nico sighed, shaking his head and taking orders.

Will was so obnoxious, it was a sad thing that he was undeniably cute. Nico threw the thought aside, reaching back to grab a Hershey bar. He couldn't afford to get distracted, but damn, his eyes. And freckles, and soft, bouncy hair...

Focus!

"You know, I actually meant to grab something for my friend." Nico looked at Will, unimpressed. The other boy just gave him a wide grin as if he was pleased with himself.

Nico rolled his eyes."I'm sure you did. So what do you want?"

Will played out a small beat on the counter top, biting his lip as he looked at the drinks. Nico thought that the action was rather adorable, but quickly shut the thought down before it could grow. "Two blue powerades and your last name."

Nico spun around and grabbed the drinks, handing them to Will. "Five dollars." Will smirked at him, handing him a crumpled bill.

"I love a guy who plays hard to get."

Nico ignored his statement, rubbing the money on the wall to smooth it. "di Angelo. Couldn't you have at least tried to keep it smooth?"

Will smiled. "Making it easy isn't all that fun, Nico di Angelo." He winked at Nico before leaving, Dani glancing up slowly. She blinked, as if surprised the apocalypse hadn't arrived yet.

"Wow, he's cute. And totally into you," she commented before turning back to her screen.

"Oh and you're suddenly an expert match maker?" Nico snapped back, going to the back to fry hamburgers. She just giggled in response. The two of them had a love-insult relationship. It was one of the reasons he liked working here. And the boys. Speaking of which...

"This is the third time you have been up here. How blonde are you?"

Will laughed lightly, pushing his curly, golden hair back out of his face. "I'm hungry. I haven't eaten since breakfast."

"That sounds like a personal problem," Nico said hautily, leaning back in his chair.

Will shrugged, resting his cheek on his hand. "Yeah, well, the game is pretty boring anyways. It's like, what? Sixth inning, and out teams are tied with four points."

"Our team always sucks," Nico muttered, rubbing his eyes. He still had three more games to run after this, and he felt like passing out already.

"Yeah, well having cute workers makes up a for their suckiness." Will winked at him, smirking. Nico could feel his cheeks grow hot, but he pretended as if the statement didn't phase him.

"I don't know. I don't think anyone has ever seen Dani's face before." That earned him a light slap to his shoulders, the blonde girl glaring at him.

Will let out a pleasant laugh, making Nico's heart stutter. "I guess it would help if the person I'm referring to isn't a clueless dork."

"I'm not clueless or a dork. You're just jealous because my shirt is better then yours." Nico tugged at the sleeve of his work shirt, the words, "Cheetahs Steal the Thunder," with a running cheetah underneath inscribed on it.

Will scoffed, faking offense. "'Cheetahs Steal the Thunder?' I thought they were associated with lighting?"

"Exactly the point! We are the lighting, but we also steal the thunder. How did you not get that?"

Will snickered. "I knew you were a dork. That just makes you twice as attractive." Nico rolled his eyes, standing up.

"I thought you were hungry?" Will shrugged, staring at him.

"Hungry to learn more about you."

Nico giggled, covering his mouth. "Oh my gods. That has to be the worst pick up line I have ever heard of."

Will wiggled his eyebrows at him, causing Nico to break out into a small smile. "Give me your number and you can hear them all the time. And I'll tell you what, I'll throw in a few dates just to make it even."

Nico shook his head, reaching for a pen and pad of paper. "Gods, I've always wanted a guy that would serande me with horrible jokes and cheesy one liners." He handed Will the slip of paper with his number on it.

Will laughed. "You came to the right place. Or may I say, I did."
