Wally West, you absolutely hated that kid. Although hate is a strong word and you don't normally use it. That was the only word to explain how you felt about him. It all started when you were in middle school. Your class was assigned individual science projects to work on at home. Today was your day to present. You were walking in the hallway to your class struggling to carry it all by yourself. These boys were running in the hallway running and one accidentally bumped into you causing your project to topple over onto the floor and all over your clothes.

"Oh my god, (y/n) I'm so sorry!" one of the boys says. It was Wally one of the more popular boy in middle school. You had a small crush on him.

"It's alright I didn't work hard on this," you stutter under your breath.

"Hey Wally lets go leave the looser alone," Wally's friend exclaims to him waving his hands.

"Alright I'll catch up," Wally shouts at his friend. "Hey, sorry about that. Hope your day turns out well," he tells you placing his hand on your arm. Then he jogs away.

Tears drip down your face as you hang head low picking up the fragmented pieces of your project. From that day you never spoke to Wally. You avoided him at all costs. You eventually forgot about him.

[[Present day]]

Your mom opens your door and says, "(y/n) time for school get up."

She always says that. Every single morning is the same. Every day is the same. Your mom wakes you up; you get dressed, go to school, come home, eat dinner, do homework, and go to bed. This routine has always been boring to you. Time to get ready for school. You head downstairs to grab your breakfast. In a couple of minutes you are out the door headed for your bus stop. You eventually get to school You hop off your bus and head to class. Everything is the same old at school. You sigh to yourself, "Nothing new at all."

[[Time skip to ending of school]]

School just ended, you pack up your things and head out of the classroom.

"oh shit sorry man," a boy says as he bumps into you. He grabs your shoulder, "(y/n)?"

You turn to look at him and realize who it is. It's Wally, you exchange glances look down and run away. As soon as you got to the entrance you walk out the school doors. You sigh annoyed but glad your day didn't go terrible until Wally bumped into you. You get on the bus and you get to your house in about fifteen minutes.

You walk into the house and take off your shoes and shout, "hey mom I'm home.

"Welcome home (y/n) dinner is almost ready," your mom replies.

You walk into the kitchen sitting at the table. "So what's for dinner," you question.

Your mom sets plates and utensils on the table. "(y/l/f/f). Your favorite," she exclaims sarcastically. She grabs dinner places it on the table and sits down in the chair across from yours. "So how was your day (y/nn)?"

You answer, "Same as always. Way too boring." You scarf down the rest of your food hoping to get out of talking to your mom since you don't really like being asked questions, especially when you come home from school. "Thanks for dinner mom I'm going to do homework now." You skip up the stairs to your room. You sit down at your desk and get out your homework. You really don't like doing homework in your room so you open the skylight in your room and climb on the roof with your homework and pencil in your hand. In all honesty you just like sitting up there to watch the sunset. It's the most wonderful feeling in the world. It makes you feel like nothing can stop you. You stand up to feel the breeze zip through your (h/l) (h/c) hair.
