Kid Flash x Reader FINISHED

Chapter 2

It makes you feel like nothing can stop you. You stand up to feel the breeze zip through your (h/l) (h/c) hair. As your sitting back down you slip. You take a couple of steps trying to catch your balance. You stumble a bit as you catch your balance you tripped on the gutter. You shut your eyes bracing yourself for the worst. Instead of hitting the ground you fall into what seems like someone's arms. You reluctantly open your eyes. As you open them there stood before you, or above you, Kid Flash. "Kid, Flash," you whisper in a questioning tone.

Kid Flash replied, "Yes, that's my name milady."

"Please put me down," You reluctantly say. Of course you didn't want him to put you down. He was part of the Young Justice team. Why in the name of hell would you do that? This is a one in a life time chance. Plus he is your favorite hero from the team. You thought the Kid part made him sound pretty lame. But it didn't matter; you still liked him the most.

"As you wish," Kid Flash sets you down gently and grabs your hand and gives it a kiss. "Well I've gahtah flash, see you again maybe," he asks. He winked at you.

"Thank you Kid Flash, I hope I can see you again too," you reply quietly knowing he didn't hear you. "No wonder they call him Kid Flash." You walk back inside and fall on your bed taking in what had just happened. You fell off your roof and almost broke every bone in your body. But at this point all that matters is that Kid Flash saved you. For the first time, life might get more interesting.

[[Time skip to school the next day]]

You're looking out the window remembering all the excitement that happened yesterday. You glance over to the clock. As you glance away from the clock you see Wally sleeping on his desk with his face towards you.

"I never realized how cute he actually is when he's asleep," you whispered to yourself. "Wait why am I saying this, I hate him. But why do I feel so drawn to him," you think to yourself. Wally opens his eyes. Your eyes meet. You stare at each other for a couple of seconds.

"(y/n) (y/l) stop staring at Wally and you Mr. West get your damn head off the table and pay attention," the teacher says sternly glaring at both of you.

The whole class laughs at the situation. Wally rubs the back of his neck blushing and chuckling a bit. You just look the other way and start blushing. Wally glances at you when the class quiets down.

[[Time skip to school ending]]

The bell rings, class is out and that definitely means school is over. You pick up your stuff and start walking towards the front of the school to leave. You get onto your bus and set an alarm so you know when to get off. You fall asleep. The alarm goes off and you jolt awake. Scrambling you pick your back up and get off the bus.

"Mom I'm home," you say doing your normal routine. You take off your shoes close the door and walk upstairs. You decide to skip diner since you have quite a bit of homework to finish. Instead you decided to procrastinate for an hour or so. Looking at the clock it turns out to be nine pm.

"A bit late but I can still get it done in time," you thought to yourself.

Your mom knocks on your door, "(y/n), I'm going to bed. You probably should head off to bed soon. Goodnight honey."

"Alright mom, as soon as I finish my homework," you shout back at her, "goodnight mom." You grab your bag. You throw some papers out to soon find some homework. After finishing about 5 pages you look at the clock. Its eleven fifty-eight now. Now is probably a good time to go to bed but you still have so much work to do so you decide to stay up a bit longer. You hear a noise coming from outside. Looking out your window and you see the shape of a boy. He starts throwing rocks at your window.

You walk up to your window and open it. You realize who the boy is. It's Kid Flash. "What the hell are you doing here? You better stop before my parents wake up! Also that's the cheesiest thing anyone has done to me. Throwing rocks at my window that's the best you've got," you lean up against the window frame chuckling.

Kid Flash shouts back, "Hey at least I came here! You should be grateful. I mean I did save you! Am I wrong," he exclaims with a smirk on his face.

"Fine I walked myself into that one. Now stop shouting or you'll wake up my parents," you chuckle.

He chuckles a bit, "Hey can I come in?" He walks a bit closer to your window which is on the second floor. There's not point in walking closer since he can't even get up to the window.

"Well you can't exactly climb up walls and I'm not opening the front door, I might wake my parents up. If you can get up on the roof then I'll talk with you," you reply hastily not expecting him to be able to climb up the side of your house. You hear a knocking above you on your skylight window. You look up and see him right up close Kid Flash.

"Didn't expect you to actually get up there," you say reaching up to the skylight window. You open it and sit next to him. "Why exactly did you come over here? Do you need something," you ask with a puzzled look on your face.

"I came to see you. I did promise I'd come back," Kid Flash smirks are you; "I always keep my promises beautiful." He places his hand on your shoulder and smiles the cutest smile you have ever seen. You felt like you've seen him before besides the time he had saved you. That smile looked so familiar but again can't quite put your finger on it. "Hey babe you alright, you're staring off into who the heck knows where," he asks.

You look at him straight in his beautiful and yet again beautiful eyes that seem oh so similar, "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry about that." You lie on your back and look at the sky. "Life has been so boring lately. I've been hoping something interesting would happen. I guess it has," you thought to yourself.

"Do you want to play twenty-one questions," Kid Flash asks you as he turns his head to you smiling.

"Oh okay. Sure, why not I'm not doing anything. You can start," you reply.

"Got it, hmmm oh alright alright I got one. What school do you go to, do you have anyone you like," he asks with a smirk on his face that makes it seem like he has some ulterior motive.

You look at him with a sarcastic but disgusted look on your face, "Sorry I only answer one question at a time," you laugh a bit, "I go to Keystone High, I'm a sophomore."

Kid Flash laughs, "You still answered two questions! Now your turn, ask me anything."

You look him straight in the eyes and with a serious tone you reply, "Why did you save me that night?" I had been pondering about this.

Ending this chapter here since I need a break from writing. I feel this chapter was getting a bit long. I hope it's getting a bit more enjoyable. I wrote this on the weekend and now that it's over I have school. I'll write as much as I can during the week. Thank you so much!
