I walked up to the Crime Scene, taking it all in. I hadn't done any investigations since, well, since a year ago. My mind immediately adjusted, taking in all the facts. Slowly, I moved towards the body. There was multiple wounds on the body but many were hidden little scars. Obviously from cutting. There was a bigger wound on the side of his head, the wound that had killed him. It was hidden, unlike the wound on his stomach. My eyes stopped on it for a second before scanning the rest of the body for evidence.
"Just as I thought" I murmured, mainly to myself.
"So?" Amelia pushed me for answers.
"Suicide." I answered simply and began to walk off, knowing that her curiosity would force her to follow me.
"What? But..." She ran after me, "How?" I knew she was asking because she didn't believe me.
"His shoulders, there was faint cuts, obviously a sign that he had been depressed and had cut himself. Purposefully. He had a hidden wound to the back of his head that he could have easily given to himself. His flat, that really gave it away." I let out a cold chuckle. Her face urged me to go on.
"It was clean. I visited his work earlier which he hadn't been to in... About six weeks? His desk had papers spread over it and the draws were extremely messy and hadn't been cleaned properly in a least a year. Which means he was normally a messy person. So I'm guessing he cleaned his flat because he was stressed about something. What? Suicide, he had been planning it for a while, since about a week after his sister died from a plain murder." Amelia stuttered with surprise.
"B-but how did you know it was his sister? It could have been anyone close to him?" I sighed, did people not know how to use their brains? Or was it just Amelia?
"Same thing as before, his flat. He had a double bed but only one side was slept on, he had no ring on his finger and his flat only had one bedroom and it couldn't have been his brother because he only had a sister. Do you think I come to crime scenes with out investigating a little bit myself first?" I paused for a minute, letting her take it in before walking off onto the streets.

Sighing, I shrugged off my dripping coat and hung it up on the hook. My long, dark brown hair was drenched from the London rain. Amelia had been shoving heaps of people in my direction as well as giving me cases. She was obviously trying to find me a partner but all the people she had found were... To..... Normal I guess. Not that Sophia hadn't been normal, she was just... different. But these people that Amelia was giving me, were boring. Most of them couldn't even understand how to take notes properly!
~ Flashback ~
The door bell rang for about the 20th time today. Grumbling, I shouted
"Come in!" A short women who looked about 25 nervously shuffled through the door. Waitress, not married but has been in a relationship with someone for about two years, feels guilty because she keeps cheating on him. I scowled at that. Living in a small flat with out her boyfriend, gay but doesn't want her boyfriend to know.
"Hello." She said after awhile of awkward silence, "Um... Could I um..." She motioned towards a chair. I nodded without saying a word. Every time someone comes I put them through a test. So far no one has past part one. Part one is where I make them write notes at the crime scene while I throw all my mood swings at them. Since I can't be at a crime scene right now (sadly), I just give them an old case briefing and make them tell me stuff about it whilst being moody. It's quite amusing to watch their reactions.
"Tell me what you think about it" She looked at it and wrote down some notes and then passed it to me. This is what she had.
- Possible Murder?
-Possible Suicide?
- 1 man dead
-Head wound
- Scars
She glanced at me nervously and shifted in her seat.
"You failed, please leave." I said simply. Her face dropped. She got up and started to walk out.
"Oh and don't forget to tell your boyfriend the truth, before he finds out about your neighbour!" I called out as she closed the door. The door paused for a second before her hand slowly brought it shut. That would give her something to think about.
~ End of Flashback ~
I chuckled slightly and sat down in my soft red chair. I loved this chair to bits, it had been my thinking place. I could almost sleep in it... My thoughts faded into a soft darkness and I fell into a much needed sleep.
-------
The sound of the door bell jolted me out of my sleep. I rubbed my eyes and realised I had fallen asleep on the couch. Oh well, it wasn't like it mattered much anyway. Stretching I called out sleepily,
"Come in I think it's unlocked!" Footsteps echoed through the house, a mans I'm guessing by the noise of it, though it sounded like he was being purposefully noisy...
"Axel Woods?" Said a man with dark curly hair and light green eyes. I nodded slowly,
"And you are?" He smirked slightly.
"Sherlock Holmes."
