5: Fate's Playing With Me (GaLe)

Yo! Yo! Yo! So, I've decided to make a GaLe special, this is how the two of them met. Don't worry, I'll make it a 1000-word special. I don't own Fairy Tail.

LEVY'S P.O.V.

Lu-chan has been bothering me a lot lately. Well, it wouldn't hurt if I told her how I met Gajeel right?

It was a gloomy day. Lucy dashed off to somewhere, telling me that she had to do something. So here I am, alone, in the library. I always spent my time at the library if I ever feel lonely. It was getting dark, and I had to go home soon.

I climbed up the ladder to return the book I've been reading. The ladder suddenly shook, so I closed my eyes, waiting for the impact. But instead, big, muscular arms caught me. Once I opened my eyes, he was gone. That's weird.

I sighed, and continued to walk down the streets quite peacefully until someone put a hand over my mouth, pulling me into the dark alley.

I was scared, trembling in fear. I was on the verge of tears, but I didn't dare to say a word. I had a feeling they would hurt me. All I could do was cry.

I heard them talking and laughing like pigs, saying, "Look at this blunette! She's really cute! I'll go first!"

I tried to run away from them, but someone held my wrist. He leaned in closer and closer, until he's face was about a few inches from mine.

I gathered all my courage, then yelled as loud as I could. A few seconds after, my savior came. He swiftly punched the guys, dodging every attack that came from them. He was pretty strong.

"Are you alright?"

His voice was deep, which I find very attractive. I nodded, telling him that everything is fine. He was tall, a lot taller than I am. He had long black hair. He had a lot of piercings too. He seemed like the bad guy type but if you look closely at his eyes, you'll see kindness, grief, concern, and some more emotions.

His appearance did look bad, but his actions are completely different. He even took me home.

"Hey, what's your name? Mine's Gajeel."

"Levy." I smiled cheerfully at him.

"Can you meet me at Mira's Cafe at Saturday? I wanna know more about you! Think of it as repayment for saving me." I offered. I couldn't think of anything but that.

"Sure. I'll be there at 9. See you, shrimp."

A vein appeared on my forehead.

"My name's Levy! L-E-V-Y! not shrimp!" I yelled at him, but he just laughed.

I giggled, watching his back until it was out of sight.

Time seemed to pass by so fast. It was Saturday already, the day of our "date". I got really excited about it, I even went an hour early.

I just wore a grey jacket, some jeans, and converse. I'm not the girly type. As long as I'm dressed, whether it's Lucy's style or not, I'm fine with it.

I came so early! I took out my book, and started reading.

*cough*

I looked up to see the owner of that voice, and it turned out to be my date.

We had fun that day. He even took me to an amusement park. He's horrible with vehicles too. I laughed at his adorable pathetic state.

He was the best kind of guy one could ask for. I really wish he was mine though.

It was 10 o' clock, and we had to say good bye. He took me home, being the gentleman he is.

I went to my room, changed into my pajamas, stuffed my face in one of my pillows, then squealed. It was really a day to remember.

The next morning, he transferred at our school, since Phantom High has been taken out. That's great. I can see him more often.
During the first few days he was here, I observed him. He's really lonely, but after a few more weeks, he's been hanging out with a pink-haired guy, which I believe is Natsu. I haven't told Lucy about it. She'll figure it out anyway.

Gajeel and Natsu tend to fight around a lot. And three more people just had to add in the fight. A blonde, tall, muscular man. A blue-haired dude with a tattoo near his eye. A raven-haired guy who strips a lot.

I'm glad he has found new friends though, I finally got to see his true smile again.

Everything between us is awkward now. Everytime we gaze at each other's eyes, we both look away with blushing faces.

During lunch, Lucy introducedme to three girls, Juvia Lockser, Mirajane Strauss, and Erza Scarlet. They were fun to be with. I noticed that every single one girl in our group has a love interest in Gajeel's group.

Lucy's fantasizing about Natsu (she still doesn't know he's here),

Juvia's staring at the raven-haired boy (Gray) with hearts in her eyes,

Erza's reminiscing her childhood memories with Jellal,

Mira's talking nervously with Laxus,

And I'm.... watching every move Gajeel does.

*riiiing!*

The bell rang again, and we went to our classroom.

Class ended, and all my friends had something to do, maybe make some chocolates for their crushes, since tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

I walked quietly along the halls, and heard someone singing. It was a song I've never heard before. Maybe he made it?

So please, just say I do

Sh*t. I got distracted. I better go home now. I quickly took a glance at the singer, well, who else? Gajeel, of course.

I'm gonna make him some chocolates.

I was pretty determined, and it turned out to be great. I wrapped it neatly in a heart-shaped box. I was ready to give it to him.

Today's the freaking big day! Once I got prepared, I went to classroom and talked to Gajeel during lunch.

"Gajeel, I really like you, please accept these!"

"Thanks. And, shrimp, will you... go out with me?"

I was surprised.

"Sure."
