Sirius Black X Reader (Stray Dog)

You ran, as fast as your legs could carry you, you could hear the howl of Lupin in his werewolf form as you ran away from him towards the shrieking shack. Given how injured you were, you didnt think you would make it, without being malled by poor Remus who couldn't control himself.

Finding yourself at the whomping willow you quickly cast the spell that would stop it from 'whomping' you. Once you were close enough to the tunnel you recast the spell that would make the willow whomp again so Remus couldn't get past it and into the shack. It worked, as you heard Remus howl and barrel off down into the forest.

You walked slowly through the shack as it creaked and scared you half to death. But what's more is you came face to face with a rather large black mutt. You moved slowly around it as it slept on the ground, the shack creaked once more causing you to jump and wake the creature who no longer slept peacefully on the floor. You yelped and ran for a room to lock yourself in as the dog growled and chased you towards the room, barking so loudly you thought your ears would bleed, you found yourself sitting against the door in tears "I escaped one creature only to die by another" when you spoke the dog like creature stopped scratching and growling at the door you were struggling to hold shut. Instead it whimpered and you could hear a few weird noises like the sounds on leaves and twigs snapping.

You sat silently in the room praying that the dog had left and found a new victim. But your prayers were short lived when you heard a knock on the door...... wait a knock. You leapt up immediately and opened the door  only to come face to face with the one and only Sirius Black. The boy you fell in love with many months ago but never had the courage to tell him. He looked terrified, maybe he had to fight off that awful dog creature thing. He grabbed you and forced you into a hug which you gladly accepted and started sobbing into the crook in his neck "Sirius, I can't believe you came for me, I thought Remus was going to eat me and then this dog thing came out of nowhere and started attac-" he hushed you. You looked confused and he had a sad face to reply to it. He sighed "Y/n I've wanted to tell you this from the moment it happened but I thought you'd hate me for being a criminal" you looked even more confused, but then it all clicked. The dog, Sirius coming out of nowhere and the dog is nowhere to be seen "You're and Animagi?" You questioned and he nodded. You had no problem with his condition as it was his business as to why he became this creature. But what worried you was "Wh... Why did you attack me?" He wiped the tears from your dirt covered face "No No Y/n I promise I wouldn't have came after you if I had known it was you. I thought it was Remus following something in and then I heard you talk and became utterly stiff and felt guilt that I had made you fear me to the point of tears, I can't imagine how it must have felt I am so sorry" you nodded "I forgive you, if I had known it was you I wouldn't have ran, I trust you no matter what you are" he smiled "I love yo... to hear you say that" he mumbled and you knew what he was going to say. You put a hand over your mouth and gasped "What?" He asked, grabbing his face "is there something in my gorgeous face" you laughed and asked "what were you about to say Sirius?" He hung his head in defeat "I was going to say that I love you, I have since first year" you couldn't believe your ears. So your long life crush has the same feelings for you, you started crying tears of joy, he looked worried "Oh my Lord, is it that bad that I love you" you shook your head and grabbed onto his shoulders, you laughed "No Sirius, this is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time" with that being said he grabbed your waist and kissed you hard. Harder than anything you'd ever felt. He pulled back and whispered "you have no idea how long I've wanted to do that" you laughed and placed your forehead on his "I love you too Sirius, although you could have chosen a better place to tell me, the shrieking shack isn't exactly the most romantic place" he snapped up and looked hurt "excuse you I put loads of effort into this place, can't you tell" he said pointing towards the scratches on the wall and the boarded up windows. You laughed at his hilariousness and realised, this man is mine. My Sirius.
