The Marauders X Reader (Family)

Another night wasting away in the cupboard, the one you called your room. Y/n Black was your name, Sirius' Blacks sisiter, he was away at Hogwarts for the year once again and once again you had no one to protect you from your parents, they were cruel and horrid people who only cared for you when your brothers were home, they forced you not to tell your brothers by saying the would throw you onto the streets if you did. Tonight was going to be different, tonight you were going to escape.

You had your bag packed with all the essentials you would need for the road, toothbrush, toothpaste, clothes, makeup etc. This was your one night to leave, you had no where to go but you had a plan figured out. Your parents had gone away to a business meeting, one that happened once a month, you figured that if you got the family owl to take a message to Hogwarts then maybe they would let you stay there with your brothers, given the circumstances. You creeped around the house incase they hadn't left, but out of nowhere the door slammed open and you could hear laughter, strange sounding laughter. You ran as fast as you could back to your cupboard and slammed the door shut, tears in your eyes knowing full well that they would have heard you and were on their way to beat you. You were covered in bruises from head to toe, your parents knew to stop beating and abusing you for at least a week before your siblings return so they wouldn't suspect anything. And they never did, never for 8 years. You were given a new room and everything a spoilt child would need when your siblings came home so they didn't try and protect you. Your Parents hated you. You never knew why, they just did and showed it every day.

The laughter and footsteps got louder, here it comes, the beating of a lifetime "Y/N!" you gasped and ran out of the cupboard running straight into "Sirius!" You cried and cried knowing you were now safe, he had three friends behind him, but you didn't care, you only cared that maybe your brother could now see your parents for who they were "Oh my... Y/n what's wrong, why are you cry- What are these bruises and scars from? And why were you in the cupboard" You sniffed and shuffled out of sirius' grasp. You moved towards the door of the cupboard and opened it fully, showing him and all his friends the manky bed that lay on the floor, the blood that cover the sheets and the glass from half drank beer bottles from your father. You went inside and picked up a hard object from the floor and gave it to Sirius, he looked shocked, mostly because he had no clue what was going on. You began "Every year you and our brother go to Hogwarts, Mother and Father stuff me in this cupboard and beat me every night with that flogger you hold in your hands, they don't let me go to Hogwarts because im too sick to enter, they don't let me go to Hogwarts because they despise me Sirius, they hate me and have covered that up for eight years, you never knew" Sirius had tears in his eyes and was speechless, he didn't know what to say, "Y-Y/n" he stated. Tears were flowing from your eyes. They boy you knew to be James Potter came and kneeled in front of you, "How come you never contacted Sirius, or myself, or Remus or Peter, you know we're like your second family right" You nodded, and wiped the tears "I know how much you all care for me, I really do, but mother told me that if i attempted to tell any of you she would throw me out onto the streets and made sure i would never see the light of day again" You sniffled attempting to hold back your tears. Remus took a step forward and kneeled down next to James, he sighed "You're right, we do care for you like a little sister, we always have and we will protect you no matter what" He looked to Sirius "We have to get her out of here Paddy" he spoke to Sirius "She's not safe" Sirius snapped "YOU DON'T THINK I KNOW THAT MOONY!" He screeched. He bolted down to your side and embraced you, attempting not to hurt your already broken frame. He shook his head "If i had known-" You shook your head "But you didn't, i know that, none of this is your fault siri, none okay." He grabbed your shoulders, and kissed your forehead "We're taking you back to Hogwarts, tonight, we will live somewhere else and you will never be treated like this again okay Y/n, we will start our new life with our new family" He gestured to his friends who all stood around you "Thankyou big brother" You smiled and hugged him again, indicating that the rest of the guys have to come in for a group hug.

Despite your intrusion, Dumbledore was happy to give you a place at Hogwarts, he had known your parents and found it easy to know why you were here in the first place. Today was your first day at Hogwarts and you had every intention to make it spectacular.

Your first class was Charms with Professor Flitwick and the four boys who were now known to you as the Marauders. They misbehaved and made jokes every five seconds which filled you with joy, Flitwick seemed very careful to approach you, it seems Dumbledore must have spread the word as to why you were here, no matter, every second counts when you're taken from hell by your four guardian angels.
