Being one of the Brooks (Janoskians Fan Fiction) - Chapter 3

About fifteen minutes, I arrived at the local park. Our park has a massive oval for saturday sport and a playground, as well as a netball and basketball court. I picked up my penny and walked over to a nearby bench, waiting for Bronte. Five minutes later, I saw her in the distant with two other people so I decided to start walking over.

As soon as she saw me, she shouted out, 'Hayley!' And ran towards me. She bowled me over with a massive hug, which made both of us fall down and burst out laughing! 

Bronte's long blonde hair which went down to her waist was in a ponytail and she wore denim shorts, a pink oversized top and red Vans.

Then I noticed the two people following her.

'Are those your cousins?' I whispered to Bronte.

She laughed, 'Yeah they are, don't worry they're not weird stalkers!'

When they caught up to Bronte and I, I took a closer look at them.

The younger was a girl who looked about 11. Her blonde hair went down to her shoulders and she wore a flowery t-shirt, denim shorts and purple converse. 

Then there was the other cousin. I was kind of shocked. He looked about my age. His hair was more of a gold-blonde colour, unlike his sister, and he looked like he should have been at the beach. His eyes were emerald green and he had a gorgeous smile. I had instantly fallen for him, and all my feelings for Skip instantly vanished.

'Hayley, this is Jasmine and Sam. Jasmine and Sam, this is Hayley.' Bronte smiled.

'Hey Hayley,' Sam grinned, which nearly made me faint.

'Pull yourself together, Hayley! You've only just met him!' I scolded myself in my head.

'Hi!" I smiled, not having the strength to say anything else.

'So, what are we going to do?' bronte asked.

'No idea, you were the one who made me come here! Is anyone else coming?' I replied.

'Umm sorry I didn't invite Sarah, it's just I don't think she likes me.' Bronte said with her head down, looking guilty.

It was true though, Sarah didn't like Bronte at all! I have no idea why though because Bronte is so funny, but Sarah gets really jealous. Sarah and i have been best friends since forever, and Bronte only came to our school this year. 

'Bronte I don't care at all, I love spending time with you and whenever the two of us are with Sarah she gets jealous! ' I replied, which made Bronte feel better.

'Who's Sarah?' Jasmine asked, confused.

'Oh she's my best friend, but come on let's go do something!' I laughed.

We went over to the playground, and I went straight to the swings.

'Weeeeeeee!' I yelled, swinging back and forth on the swing.

'Your such a retard,' Bronte laughed.

'I don't know, I've seen weirder!" Sam smiled.

'That's hard to believe, I'm like the weirdest person ever!" I smirked.

'Nah, your brothers are way weirder!' Bronte replied.

'If you think they're weird, then why are you like obsessed with Beau?'

'Who's Beau?' Sam asked.

'Oh, did I mention her brothers are the Janoskians?' Bronte smiled.

'Who?' He said, looking confused. 

Bronte and I laughed.

'Look them up on youtube, they're actually stranger than me!'

He smiled.'Umm Hayley, can I look at your phone?' 

I was kind of confused, 'Umm, I guess? Just don't drop it' 

He laughed, and I passed him my iPhone. He typed something into it, then passed it back. I looked to see if their was any difference to my phone, and I saw that he had added a contact 'Sam :)'. I laughed, I know I had just met him but I was falling for him.

We got sick of the playground so decided to hang out at the netball courts for a while.

After about an hour, we decided we should probably go home.

'It was nice to meet you, Sam and Jasmine!' I smiled.

'Same Hayley! We should do this again next saturday!' Sam smiled.

'Do you live nearby?' I asked.

'Like twenty minutes from Bronte's place,' Jasmine replied. 

'See, I knew you would love them! We can do this every saturday!' Bronte beamed.

I hugged Bronte goodbye, then waved at the cousins. Before I hopped back onto my penny, i decided to text Sarah.

'omg sarah im in love <3 I've met the sweetest guy ever :)))))) xoxoox'

Soon after she replied with, 'omg and it isnt skip? omg omg omg who is it? omggg xoox' 

I then replied with, 'brontes cousin, sam! hes amazing, and i hav his number! omg i like fell in love like instantly!'

Then I got another from her, 'awww so cute, tell me more at school! gtg luv u Lee xxoxo'

I then decided that I should go home to join the boys again, so I got onto my penny and skated home.
