Being one of the Brooks (Janoskians Fan Fiction) - Chapter 6

For the first time in my whole life, I didn't walk back to my house with Sarah. She must have gotten a later bus. Why the fuck was she angry at me? What had I even done to deserve this? I thought I was allowed to have other friends, but clearly not. Also, the way she talked to Bronte on Facebook was just so mean! I can't believe Sarah, my best friend, could say something like that to my friend. It was just way too much to handle.

As soon as I got home, I threw my school bag onto the floor and ran into my room. And then I just broke down and cried. I'm not the sort of girl who usually cries, but I cried a lot. I didn't care that my brothers were in the other room, or that mascara was running down my face. Everything had been great, until my best friend had decided to ignore me. I just cried on my bed, and thought of all the things Sarah and I had ever done together. Now, we would never be able to any of this. Especially when she's now friends with Selena, the biggest bitch of all time. No more horror movie nights at my place. No more shopping sprees. No more laughing about stupid things. Just because she was angry at Bronte. 

Suddenly, I was lifted off my bed by someone's muscular arms onto my feet. It was Beau. He turned me around, and held me really tightly. I sobbed into his shoulder, still too upset to speak. The best thing about having three brothers is that they are always there for me!

I cried for a bit more, and eventually told Beau what had happened. I told him about what Sarah said on Facebook, how Bronte was trying to stick up for me and how Sarah was now ignoring me for no real reason. Telling him this made me burst into tears again. 

'Well if she's going to treat you like shit, she's not much of a best friend anyway! Seriously, fuck her!' Beau said, trying to cheer me up.

I laughed through my tears, 'I know your being serious, but you're so cute when you say that! You need to get more Macho, Beau Beau!'

He chuckled, 'Fine, should I talk like this then?' He said in a really deep voice.

'Yes, that's perfect!' I giggled.

'By the way, don't call me Beau Beau!' He said in the deep voice.

'Sure, Beau Beau!' I smiled. I was feeling a lot better now.

He glared at me for a few seconds, then smiled. 'Hope you're feeling better, Lee!' He grinned, in his normal voice this time! He ruffled my hair and walked out of the room.

I smiled, and adjusted my hair then wiped off all my smudged mascara. I walked to the kitchen and made myself a cheese sandwich. While I made my sandwich, Jai went and raided the pantry.

'Do you really need that much food?' I laughed.

'Yes! If you don't eat, you die,' He replied, holding three packets of chips, a packet of biscuits and a bag of lollies.

'Pig!' I smiled!

'Well, I'm not eating a whole sandwich!' He grinned.

'It's better than eating unhealthy crap!'

'So I heard you and Sarah had a fight?'He asked, completely changing the subject.

'Wow, news travels fast in this house!'

'But you guys are like inseperable!'

'Yeah, well she's a bitch! And basically, I don't want to talk about her anymore because it's just making me angry!' 

'Well, I'm sorry! Jesus, calm down!' Jai laughed, 'Is it your time of the month?'

I started laughing too, 'You're such a douchebag!' 

He laughed, and took all his crap back to his room with him.

'Boo!' Shouted Luke as he walked into the kitchen, making me jump even though I could see him coming!

'God, I like nearly died because of you!' I laughed.

'You're so easily scared, Lee!'

'Shut up!' I smiled.

'So does mum know your going on a date this friday?'

'Wait, how do you even know about that?' I said confused.

'Skip told me! And does she?'

'When I see Skip next, I will swear to god murder that son of a bitch!' I glared.

Luke laughed, 'Well did you tell mum or not?'

'No, but I will! Anyway it's friday, that's like ages away!'

'Are you sure he's not going to, like, take advantage of you or anything? Girls can be pretty stupid about guys sometimes,'

I gave him a weird look, and rolled my eyes. 'He's a really nice guy, it's not like he's going to rape me or anything! I know your trying to be a nice brother and all, but it's seriously annoying!'

He laughed, 'Fine, but if he's an ass to you don't tell me I never warned you!'

I rolled my eyes. Luke was so protective of me! I guess it's nice to have a protective brother, but I have three of them!
