Cross Country, Not My Thing

Carters P.O.V

Ever since I met Scott I have been thinking about him non-stop. And Carson has been gone really often now, so I decided to talk to her.

"Carson?" I asked and knocked on her door. I heard a ´come in' behind the door so I opened it.

"Hey" I said and walked in. She was going through her closet and listening to music at the same time.

"What's up?" She asked and threw a shirt on the bed. I sat down on the bed and watched her go trough her closet.

"You haven't been hanging out with me for a while, I was just worried" I said smiling sadly. Carson stopped going through her closet and looked at me. She sighed before coming to sit next to me.

"I'm sorry Carter. Do you want me to tell you what I have been doing?" I nodded and she started explaining. She told me about virgin sacrifices, how Scott, Stiles, Derek and Dr. Deaton knows that she is a hybrid. She also told me that she was a week ago helping Scott, Derek, some Isaac and Chris Argent with catching some boy and girl named Boyd and Cora.

"Wow" Was all I said and layed down on the bed when she finished.

"Yeah" She said before laying down on the bed with me.

"So what is bothering you?" She asked and propped up on her elbows.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"I know you like Scott" She smiled wickedly. I stared at her in shock and she gave me a laugh.

"How'd you know?" I asked her.

"Other than your mind, I saw the way you looked at him" She said and gave me a wink. I rolled my eyes and looked up at the ceeling.

"You going to the cross country today?" Carson broke the silence.

"Cross Country, not my thing" I said.

"Scott will be there" Carson pushed. 

"Fine, I'll be there" I huffed. Carson smiled before getting up from bed.

"Get ready then, we leave in five" She said and got ready for school. I groaned and got up from her bed and walked over to my room. I was all ready done and walked into Cassity's room.

"Cass?" I asked and walked into the room.

"Yeah" She said and walked out of her bathroom.

"Do you need a ride for school?" I asked her. She shook her head and grabbed her bag.

"I'm good, a guy from school is picking me up" She smiled.

"Someone's got a crush" I sang and she glared at me playfully. I held my hands up in surrender and smiled.

"C'mon, we gotta get to school" I said and walked out of her room. She was walking behind me and we walked out of the house. Carson was already waiting by her car and had her sunglasses on her.

"My ride is here, bye guys!" Cassity yelled and walked over to a guy sitting on a motorcycle. Both me and Carson turned around to face the guy and I could feel Carson blood boiling with anger. I looked over to the guy and saw that he took his helmet off. 

He gave a helmet to Cassity and she hopped on his bike. He looked over to me and Carson and smirked. His eyes changed to red for a second before back to his normal color. He drove off with Cassity to school and I could hear Carson say under her breath "Alpha"

Carsons P.O.V

We got to school and I changed quickly into my running clothes. I need to find Scott and Stiles and tell them that there was a Alpha in town. Me and Carter quickly changed and walked out to the others.
