When the sun peaks over the mountain, and illuminates the earth with its golden glow, and when the skies go from black to pink in such a luminousinate show, would you ever think to yourself, how does this go on with such beautiful colors on a daily basis?...yet there are those who live without the knowing of color...How would you explain color?Color is something that we see. It isn't an emotion, but it can strike emotions with enough force that it competes within our daily lives.
The golden rays of the setting sun captivate us, but there are others who do not see, but feel the sun.A deeper connection to where the sun is in the sky of which we do not know how far or how close it lies in wait. When the sun sets, the bright colors of the day are brought back, replaced with the silence of black. The beautiful stars that map across the darkened skies glow like white pearls, revealing themselves slowly in fear of the competitive sun.
The earth goes cold, and you feel the change, as there are no longer rays of warmth to provide safety. The night, on those moonless nights, blinds those who can see, and forces them behind the lights of civilization. The lights illuminate the night, throwing shadows across the cold earth as it trespasses the nights blanket of darkness, an intrusion towards the nights solitude in darkness. There is no difference in sight for those who can't see, but I wonder.Do those who can't see more connected to the earth than those of us who can? If you can't see color, if you can't see anything at all, how are you able to believe the idea of color? It seems like a lot of trust to put into someone, but regardless of trust, I still believe that you are more connected to the earth than those of us who can see.
