The train skidded to a stop. Hermoine and Ginny grabbed their things and jumped off the train as soon as possible. Hermoine looked around frantically before sighing in relief.
"Looking for me?" A voice piped in from behind her.
Nope. It's not him.
Definitely not him.
I lost him on the train! IT.IS.NOT.HIM.But no matter how hard she tried to deny it she knew it was him. She could practically hear the smirk in his voice.
Okay maybe I'm just being overdramatic.
She rolled her eyes and turned around to meet the sight of a gorgeous porcelain face with stromy-grey pools staring back at her."Oh, obviously I was. Because I have nothing better to do with my time," she said sarcastically.
"Aw, does someone have a widdle cwush on me?" Draco said in a baby voice, batting his eyelashes and pouting and honestly making himself look adorable.
'No. Nope. I did not just think that' Hermoine thought and continued her annoyed façade(which wasn't actually a façade)."You do know I was being sarcastic right?" She continued.
"I've said this before, and I will say it again. Your sarcasm is unfunny,"
"I've said this before, and I will say it again. You are irritating," she mocked giving him a sly smile.
"Whatever," Draco grunted, "Anyways, about the bet, we're both going on vacation right?"
"Yeah? So?"
"So unless we randomly run into each other on our vacations; which, mind you, isn't very likely, then the bet will continue after the winter break,"
Hermoine groaned and buried her face in her hands.
"Do I really have to do this?"Draco smirked. "Well, no, I mean you could just surrender to my irresistible charm now and end this game,"
"I'll go with the bet," she said quickly and stuck her nose in the air.
"Fine. Just don't get too upset when you lose,"
She rolled her eyes.
"Bye, Malfoy. I hope someone hexes you to oblivion," she said and smiled at him mockingly before walking towards Ginny who was tapping her foot impatiently as she stared at Hermoine with her eyebrow raised."Bye, Granger. I hope you get eaten by werewolves," he retorted.
She turned around and stuck her tongue out at him one last time before turning around again.
"Wait!" he called out.
She spun on her heal so she was facing him.
"One last thing," he said. He leaned in and pressed his lips against her cheek for a brisk amount of time before pulling away. Hermoine shivered at the contact of their skin and looked up at him.
He broke into a smirk and patted her on the back."Just try not to miss me too much," he threw behind his shoulder and then winked at her before walking away.
Hermoine felt her cheeks grow warm and she already guessed that there was a light blush spreading across her cheeks.
"God dammit, Malfoy. You foul, loathesome, evil, little cockroach," she muttered and then shook her head before walking back towards Ginny who looked seriously bored. Her face lit up when she saw Hermoine walking back. Obviously she'd witnessed the whole scene that'd happened between them.Ginny linked her elbow with Hermoines and started dragging her towards the group, which were standing towards the end of the platform chattering unnecessarily.
"Gimme the details right now!" She demanded playfully. She expected Hermoine to be love struck and let out a dreamy sigh but was caught off-guard after Hermoine replied with a most unexpected answer.
