(I'm going to be trying something new for me and try to make this chapter in first person. If you don't like it, then that's unfortunate.)

Evan's POV:

"Evy~ Wake up, honey," a beautiful voice said, coming from below.

I turned to my side before realizing that going back to sleep would be useless (since I never can). I sat up, feeling the sun warm my back. It was early in the morning, and I heard the birds sing to each other in the sky. "Good morning, Jonny," I said, gathering any scattered things that belonged in our bag.

Last night, before the moon was at its peak, Jon and I found a tree to camp in to stay away from ground predators. "Good morning, love. Are you ready to walk a few miles?" He asked as I climbed down the tree.

"Yes, ma'am. I'm as ready as I could ever be," I said before kissing his pale cheek and grabbing his hand.

"Good. We need to find a place that we can build a house. Would you prefer the hills or the nearby forest?" He asked, quickly at me before continuing to walk.

I took a minute to reply, to think about where it would be safest to live. "I think we should go into the forest. The hills are too open, and anyone could easily find us. If we go into the woods, although a little more dangerous due to the animals, we'd have more cover. And, if we really wanted to, we could make a small clearing for us to build a house."

"Good choice. But, if we live there, we'd need to go more towards the center, as werewolves - do you remember those? - still exist, and they live in that forest, but, for some reason, refuse to be near the center of it. Okay?" Jon said, picking up speed so we wouldn't be caught on the outer rim of the woods by nightfall.

"Alright, we'd better get there quick then, we need to get there before the afternoon to build a small shelter," I said, beginning to lightly jog.

---

We arrived at the edge of the forest around noon. The sun was directly above us, and we knew we'd have around three or four hours before the wolves come out to play. So, Jon agreed to just run us to the middle so we wouldn't get lost.

"You ready?" Jon asked me, making sure that he had a tight grip on my legs.

"Always," I replied, shifting a little to be more comfortable.

He smirked at me before taking a deep breath and bringing us, at lightning speed, to the middle of the forest. We had a couple of miles to work with, so it wouldn't be that difficult to find a good place to have shelter. (Basically, there's like 5 miles going out from the direct middle of the forest that is "werewolf-proof.")

"Okay, Jon, we should go to that hill or something for our house," I started, already marching my way there. "We can do things tomorrow because I know you're tired and I know that I won't be able to do this on my own."

"Okay, princess," Jon said, slightly yawning.

That run really must have taken a lot of energy out of him. I thought, deciding to just give him a piggy-back ride there.

"Honey, what are you doing?" He asked, his eyes half open, as I picked him off the ground.

"You're tired, just sleep and I'll carry you, okay?" I smiled at my beautiful prince.

"O-" He yawned, "Okay. I love you."

"I love you too."

---

After about and hour of walking, we reached the bottom of a steep hill. "Joonn~ wake up honey. I can't carry you up this." I said, repeatedly kissing his cheeks.
