"Wow, okay. You are skilled," Lui said, amazed by Evan's throwing accuracy.

"We've had to, ahem, hunt before, so..." Evan trailed off, now interested in his shoes.

"Oh, well same 'ere," David said, not caring about the fact that the couple in front of him had to kill someone before.

"By the way Lui, I know this is kind of random, but when did you and David meet?" Jon asked, realizing that Evan and him did not know their story.

Lui chuckled at Jon. "We met when he saved my ass from dying."

Jon and Evan were very confused and wanted an explanation as soon as possible.

Lui looked at the two confused boys and silently chuckled before starting his story. "Well, around ten years ago, I was banished from my town. I ended up running as far as I could because they soon chased me with fire and yelled to 'burn the witches son,' as they'd call my me because my mother was a witch. I eventually ended up in these woods, and the villagers stopped at the edge and quickly left. I was confused as to why they stopped at the time, but I know now.

Anyways, I wandered the woods for a long time, and then the sun went down and the werewolves came. I was scared. But I heard a quiet voice behind me. It was David. Obviously, I was scared and tried to run from him. After he grabbed me and we escaped to these hills, I knew for sure that I could trust him. From then on, our friendship grew and it just turned into more than a friendship. And now here we are," Lui finished, sighing.

Jon and Evan looked at each other before smiling at Lui and David. "Awww, David! You saved him and you didn't even know who he was! That was a good choice though, I mean, he's obviously a good person," Evan said, speaking the truth.

"Yeah, princess, I agr-" Jon was cut short when the four heard a scream for help.

The four looked at each other before silently nodding. Lui and Jon quickly grabbed the nearest weapons (David had his bow and arrows and Evan had his knives) before they all ran to where the scream came from.

When they reached the bottom of the hill, the four men saw a beaten and bloodied man passed out on the grass, surrounded by a small pool of blood. Since there was a sickeningly familiar laugh that began to reoccur throughout the woods, Jon already knew what had caused this man to bleed. "We need to clean his wounds immediately. Do you guys have bandages? We'll need to stop the bleeding," Jon said, talking to Lui and David as Evan picked up the random man.

---

"Where am I?" asked a tired voice from beind the shadow-encased man.

It was no later than 1 AM, and Jon stayed up in case the injured man woke up.

"You're in a house in the middle of the woods. I'm going to change your bandages, okay?" Jon said, getting up from the chair he sat on and grabbed fresh bandages.

"I- Thank you, uh..." the man said, not knowing Jon's name.

"The name's Jonathan, but you can call me Jon," Jon said extending his hand.

The man hesitantly took Jon's hand before responding. "Craig. Thanks for patching me up. I'd probably be dead if it wasn't for you."

"It's no problem, really. I mean, if you saw a person bleeding out, wouldn't you fix 'em up?" Jon said, removing the bloodied bandages off of Craig's bruised body.

Jon grabbed a wet rag and lightly dabbed Craig's wounds. Craig hissed in slight pain. "Yeah, I would help the bleeding person."
After wrapping the fresh bandages, Jon and Craig talked a little bit and quickly got along with each other. "You should rest, Craig. Your body needs it," Jon said, fluffing Craig's pillow (because why not, he does what he wants).
