She was beautiful.
Everything about her was beautiful.
Eyes.
Hair.
Laugh.
I could go on forever.
But she didn't believe me when I told her, she didn't believe anyone that told her.
She had spent her whole life doubting herself, not believeing in herself and being told that she was never good enough that she had pushed people away, and I knew that is exactly what she was trying to do with me.
But I wasn't going to let her push me away that easily. She deserved to be loved and cared for.
That is exactly what I was trying to do, show her that I loved and care for her and maybe, just maybe she would love me back.
But I knew that would never happen.
All that I could do was try.
Even if it destroyed me in the process.
