You sense of security made me feel whole
You took my hand and touched my soul
You never shouted, or even lied
But you always wanted me to hide
You were so perfect, so sincere
Until you struck my hand, and made me fear
The innocence of your love became amiss
But you lured me in with your soft kiss
The moment things didn't go your way
Your kindness and mercy, turned to slay
Now I notice you have fled
My heard is broken, it is dead
But now I know why you are gone
You were the player, but I was a pawn
