Smile

You see, no one ever questioned
"What happened to your smile?"
Because no one ever seems to care
Until it affects their own worthwhile
She stopped smiling completely
Her grin became no more
The once known "happiness"
Was trampled at the door
No one knew what happened
Not even to this day
Because silence is a virtue
That's gained along the way
Once in a while she would utter
a few small significant words
"I need help"
But no one ever heard
Although her story was not over
Like the closing of a book
Life started to appear clearer
Everywhere you'd look
But that wouldn't happen automatically
Or by the feeling of the breeze
Happiness was gained by solemness
And harsh realities
Soon enough her happiness
Was confirmed by her face
Her smile returned to its rightful spot
And she was even granted with grace
So the moral of the story
Is to not let your smile crack
Because that time when you will really want it
You will not get to have it back
