"How do you know where we're going?"
Both you and Roxas came to realize that there was some type of link' between the helmets to one another. It took a little bit to realize you both didn't need to speak above your normal talking tones.
That took a few stumbling minutes. Especially when you nearly scared Roxas off his glider.
Now the two of you were gliding over different worlds, some that looked familiar while others didn't. It was hard not to take a pit stop and see what you would turn into in Atlantis, that's for sure.
Roxas shrugged his shoulders a little bit, gliding until he was steady right next to you. "It's a link, you know? Twilight Town, it's my home. Even if everything wasn't real. It was to me, y'know?"
Giggling softly, you glanced at him from behind your visor. "Ah, thanks for that information Rai."
"Hey!"
Speeding a little bit ahead of Roxas, out of his reaching range. Being able to fly like this was a dream, it felt like one too. You had to squint your eyes from the light that was coming from up ahead, slowing down to the point that you and Roxas floated there next to each other.
"Is that..?" "Yup, that's Twilight Town."
Over in the far horizon you could see the infamous clock tower of Twilight Town. Even from this great of a distance, it stuck out. Maybe it was because the universe knew that's where you needed to go. Or perhaps, that's where you needed to be.
"Race ya!"
"That's no fair, you cheater!" You cried out, watching Roxas zooming far ahead of you.
There was laughter, filled with easy going beats. This was something that never in your entire life would you thought of happening. Your summer was meant to be boring, working and dreading the idea of going to a college you didn't want to go to.
That changed, it was scary of course. Honestly, you were still terrified. That one second you would wake up and it was a terrible too good to be true dream. Something told you though, that this is real. You weren't dreaming.
The closer that you got to Roxas, both of you about to enter Twilight Town. You couldn't help but let that heart wrenching feeling adsorb you.
Who else was stuck in the darkness?
You had thought about turning around and heading straight into the darkness to see who else was at the different Stations. Who was stuck there by themselves or with another person. You were terrified of finding Yen Sid and him without answers.
To eventually find Sora, Riku and Kairi and you knew none of them would have answers.
That would only leave you two options:
King Mickey or... finding him.
You flew into Twilight Town, light shuddering all around you. Both your glider busted into white light, you watched as Roxas' armor slowly went away piece by piece into more light. His two rings, one white and black were replaced with slim metal bands of white and black. It was his armor, jut like your gauntlet was. Looking down at it, you came to realize it wasn't clunky like before. It looked more like a glove with metal covering your knuckles and joints.
Maybe it took easy form for every world.
Blinking, you rubbed your [colour] eyes until the light faded away and you stood there along with Roxas. In the sandlot.
"Huh, would've half expected your hideout thingy or being in front of the train station."
You were looking around, taking a few steps to get a better look of the place. Roxas on the other hand looked as if he was trying to figure out how to walk all over again. As if he had 'sea legs' and the world wasn't there.
