With an intense pounding in her head she came to and immediately smelt salt enter her system. Testily opening her eyes, she was assaulted with a silhouette of a crowd and a the bright light of the sun.

She was lying her back and her head hurt even more by the cause of the sun so as soon she opened her eyes she closed it  .

A girly voice spoke "Is he dead?" with a hint of boredom and curiosity.

Hearing this the girls ears perked up with interest.  'A girl in this sorry lot? It's practically impossible, and did she say he?' she thought to herself.

"I'll check Allison." A boyish voice said .

The girl, probably named Allison as the girl deduced,  replied and said"Be careful Leon."  as she warned the boy named Leon.

He must have nodded in response since she didn't hear a word after.

As the girl felt a soft hand touch her face, her eyes flew open to find a boy's face inches from her owns. Startling blue eyes peeked warily through his blonde tresses.

On instinct, she hand gripped his wrist and pinned him on to the deck. Her knee rested on his stomach to restrain his movements and her free hand snatched the dagger she had a glimpse of earlier strapped to his waist and used it to pin him and his clothes to the deck floor, while other the hand still gripped his wrist.

"Who are you and what do you want." she growled at him while they glared at each other with intense hatred.

Struggling to break free, "Get off me you pansy." he complained.

The girl  just scoffed at his weak complaint. "So now I'm the pansy pinned to floor with my own dagger." she said mockingly.

The boy's face visibly contorted into a scowl at her purposeful jabs at his pride which was being violently attacked as of that moment.

Suddenly, a loud and commanding voice was heard from the back of the crowd. "What's all the commotion? Can't a man get some sleep in peace without waking up to trouble?" A man grumbled with a deep husky voice.

At once, the crowd parted reminding of the trained guards she got used to as she grew up upon hearing the man's voice.

" Father- I mean captain, this boy we found ship wrecked woke up and pinned Leon to the floor." the girly voice earlier who she believed to be Allison said to her father.

She could tell because besides the obvious slip of the tongue, they both had wild wavy brown hair. The only difference was that Allison had blue eyes, while her father had green eyes.

Unsurprisingly to the girl, the boy she pinned down is Leon. But what appalled her was the fact that they mistook her for a boy.

A hand flew to her hair in alarm but it was still its usual shoulder length, but when she checked her clothes nothing was amiss, it was still trousers and a button up shirt.

Then it all clicked in her head. She realized how much of a boy she dressed like, it was no mind boggle how they would mistake her as one. She absolutely despised those frilly dresses but she was forced to wear them to keep up with appearances as she grew up, but after she was kidnapped she didn't have much of a choice when it came to clothing. Not that she minded the trousers, it was quite comfortable compared to those bloody corsets.

"Hey boy, what's your name?" Their captain called out and asked the boy.

The girl contemplated on whether to state her real identity or correct them of her gender, but before she could fully make a decision she was asked by the man's child.
