King woke up to the smell of bacon, toast, sausages and other fry foods. King walked down the hall and into the kitchen.
Darren and King bought a apartment, so they can try and find his sister. "Darren?" King called out, hoping that there was going to be a reply.
"King, in here!" His two month boyfriend yelled from the kitchen. King let out the breath he was holding in.
He walked into the kitchen and saw Darren happily humming a song, or a lullaby. Darren turned around and smiled at the alpha.
He placed food in front of King who smiled "thank you" he did mad Darren hummed. King took the plate and sat down on the couch.
"Darren" King said and Darren turned around "will you like to go on a date?" He asked and Darren smiled and blushed.
"Of course" he said and made himself a plate full of the fry. He sat next to King who turned on the tv.
They watched a movie, and sat quietly and ate. Kings phone rang, he turned to Darren and smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry" he apologised, "just go and get it" he mumbled and King got his phone. He sat back next to Darren.
"Hello?" He asked.
"King, Kingston where are you?" Sam asked or more like commanded through the phone. King turned to Darren and mouthed 'sorry' before goting in to their room.
"I'm finding my sister" King said as he closed the door. Sam scoffed on the other end. "Your sister was kidnapped, never to be found again. Why do you think that she is alive?" King was shocked.
"She's alive" he growled out, almost busting his phone. "King, come home. Rose misses you, we all do" he said as King chuckled darkly.
"Did she tell you about the river?" He asked and Sam stayed quite. "I'm going to get my sister back Samuel no one can stop you, you can try but you can't succeed. She's the only living family member I have left. I have to try to find her. Also ask Rose what happened that night when I met her at the river. Goodbye Samuel." King pressed the 'end' button.
Darren opened the door, "King?" He asked as Ling watched him walk into the room. Which they shared.
"Are y-"
"No, Darren. I'm broken, it first started out with my family then a guy named Ashton-"
"Ashton, was he your first lover?" Darren asked sounding jealous. "Yes he was" Darren raised an eyebrow.
"Was..." he trailed off "he died because of me" King looked at his hands. He can still see the blood from his hands.
"I had a friend who died, his name was Ashton but-"
"Most people called him Ash" King looked into Darren's soft blue eyes which held pain. "He was a amazing friend, probably a even better boyfriend" Darren looked over at his closet.
He got up and got something out of a box. It was a baby picture of Ash and Daren. Kingston would know those amazing brown eyes from anywhere.
"Our fathers were hunters who stupidly married werewolves" King smiled at Darren and kissed his forehead.
"And so you's grew up together and when you were old enough, you realised that you just didn't want him as a best friend but a lover" Darren put his head on Kings left shoulder.
"He didn't love me."
"I took that away from you" King looked at Darren who shook his head "I pushed him away, which was my first mistake. When he said that he realised he did have feelings for me I didn't believe him. That was my second. And when I wanted to surprise him and I was going to tell him that I loved him..."
"He was gone, and that was your third" Darren nodded his head. King kissed the top of his head. "I miss him as well" he mumbled and hugged Darren closer to him.
"I miss him so much" Darren choked out and King rocked him. Like a mother would do to a new born child.
Darren gripped on his shirt, "don't let me go, don't let me fall" Darren whispered.
"I won't, that is my promise to you."
King looked up at the clouds , the window was open and he saw a bright light.
'I miss you, Ash. And god I still love you.'
King closed his eyes, calming Darren down and hummed what Ashton would have sung.
