A/N There were four objects I had to include. They were: cheese, a piano, a door, crisps. Enjoy!

Derrick leaves his mum in the kitchen, making a cheese sandwich. He grabs a bag of crisp deciding to explore his new house. He hates the fact that they had to move. He left all his friends behind again.

Derrick is interrupted from his thoughts when he hears the melodic sound of a piano. He, forgetting his crisp, begins to search each room looking for the instrument but he can't seem to find it. He sits on the bed in his room, about to give up when a brown door catches his gaze. He hadn't noticed it before.

Not thinking twice, he opens the door to see a young girl playing the piano. Feeling enchanted by the girl and the music, Derrick takes a seat beside her. She finishes playing and turns to face him, a big smile upon her face.

"Hi! I'm Derrick. Who are you?" Derrick fires at the girl excitedly.

"I will tell you my name if you let me teach you to play." The girl compromises. Derrick thinks about it for a minute before nodding his head. For weeks, the two got closer and became best friends.

"My name is Melody." The girl says suddenly. Derrick (grinning) takes off to get his mum.

"Mum! Mum! Come meet my best friend Melody. She's at the piano behind the door!" He yells excitedly, pulling his mum to her feet. Together, they walk to his room. Facing his mum, he opens the door. "Mum, Melody. Melody, mum."

"What an imagination you have, son." His mum says chuckling and walking off. Derrick turns around and sees an empty room with an old, dusty piano. Confused, he sits on his bed, thinking about how he is alone again.

"You are never alone, Derrick." He hears Melody's voice before he falls asleep.
