(Extract from a short story - I can't find the rest of it, lol. We were learning how to do flashbacks.)

I listen to the music in my ears. I can't believe they did this! Jace has been stalking me for a while now but this is new. Let's rewind.

I hitch my backpack up on my shoulder and put on my 'I don't care' face. Flipping my electric blue hair over my shoulder, I walk into school and towards my locker, smirking as people scramble to get out of my way. When I reach my locker, I am surprised to see Jace's friend stood there. When he looks at me, I raise an eyebrow at him.

"I ... uhm ... I need your help." He admits.

"With what?" I ask suspiciously.

His response is to turn and start to walk away. A few strides later, he looks over his shoulder to see if I'm following. When he sees that I'm not, he raises an eyebrow. I sigh and begin to follow him. He smirks and I glare at him as he leads me into a classroom. Like a gentleman, he holds the door open for me. I roll my eyes and step inside.

"So what do you need help with?" I ask turning around. He smirks again before slamming the door shut and I hear the click of a lock. My eyes widen and I start to pound my fists on the door. "No! Let me out!" I yell panicking. I hear laughter from inside and outside the classroom.

"Thanks, Nate!" A familiar voice calls from behind me.

"No problem, Jace." Nate replies.

I feel the walls start to close in and my breathing gets heavier as the room starts to spin. I turn around, wide eyed. Jace grins at me. I decide to put my earphones in to try to calm down.

The music has just about been working so far but my phone battery is quickly dying. Jace hasn't stopped staring at me and I have come to the conclusion that he is an absolute creep.
