Megan was in the forest near her home, with calyn, just outside of the warding. She was helping him set up a blue glowing pentegram. Mason was fast asleep in his crib at the house, at least he was when they left. As soon as they finished and there was only the chanting left to do she said "calyn, thanks for the help, but I need you to go watch mason in the house please". Calyn responded "why, what if you need me. I am the one with magic". Megan didn't wait long to respond "I don't want lilith to know that anyone else knows that mason exists". Calyn did not look happy "why". Megan simply said "if she trys to take mason or corrupt him an any way at all I'll need someone who I can both trust and know that she wont know about". Understanding flooded calyn he loved strategizing and the fact that megan was such a great strategist is one of the things he loved about her. But he still didn't like her doing this alone "Fine" he said said coldly and walked back through the warding towards the house. Megan began to chant sfter about five minutes. The latin words flowed from her mouth smoothly, megan knew many languages including a couple of demon languages. While chanting she pulled out a knife from her weapons belt and grabbed the bowl laying on the ground bellow her. Megan cut her palm deep and allowed thr blood to poor into the bowl. As she finished the chant the pentagram glowed broghter and after the final word megan tossed her blood into the center of the pentagram. A spinning baseball sized ball of fire arrived in the center of the pentagram. But it grew as megan watched it patiently, elongating and shaping itself until it was the outline of a woman, made completly. "Lilith" megan commanded "as you once called out to me I now call you. Come to me lilith". Slowly the flames darkned. Lilith stood before megan now, stripped naked but looking a lot stronger then the last time megan had seen her. "Lilith, I have summoned you as you requested of me. For what reason I would now like to know. I would also like to thank you for giving me a way to escape that night" megan said. Liliths snake eyes sat still looking at magen "I asked you to call upon me to arrange my involvement with our son of course. And you owe me no thanks, but i do so thanks for saving, mason is it right?" Lilith questioned. "Yes" megan responded with her mind racing. "Ok. Thanks for saving our child mason and keeping him". Megan spoke her thoughts aloud "you are a demon and because you saved me and mason has some of your blood I respect you. If you are to see my child it will be small visits in which I will be there the entire time those are the only circumstances in which you will be able to see mason". Lilith stood still she did not seem angry just a cold calm "I am strong enough to return to this earth if i wish. The reason I do not is for I am still grieving for my children, who were all taken from me on the same day. I will agree to this, but I will have knowledge and a cirtian amount of say on his training, growth and health. After his six birthday, you will summon me to visit mason. Mason and I will visit every two months." Lilith awaited megans response. "Fine. See you in four years" megan responded. With out saying another word lilith dissolved away and the pentagrams glow died away and disappeared as well.
Now you know lilith is gonna be involved further. The next chapter is gonna be in clarys p.o.v. but it will be short. Hope you are enjoying the story.
