I walked into school on Monday morning and Shawn was a few feet behind me so it didn't look too obvious, he walked into the performing arts block while I walked over to the bench where jade was sat on her phone.
"hey girl" i said to her, hugging her.
"hey" she said back to me returning the hug.
"how was your birthday by the way" she said to me.
"really good actually" I said remembering all the things me and Shawn did on Saturday.
I started to feel really bad about not telling jade about me and Shawn but I don't know why I felt bad because I've kept it a secret for so long.
"lily I've been meaning to ask you something for a couple of weeks now, so here it goes" she said.
"okay then, what is it" I said to her
"lets go to an empty classroom, I don't want anyone to hear me say it" she said dragging me to the classroom next to Shawn's because all the rest had teachers in most of them.
"so what was it" I said to her.
"what's going on with you and Mr Mendes" she whisper shouted really quickly.
"what do you mean" I said to her acting as if I was confused.
"I mean you two are just really close and your always staying after class to talk to him and he looks at you a lot different to the way he looks at everyone else" she said quietly.
"there's nothing going on between us, he's just my teacher and I'm just his student, he doesn't look at me any differently to anyone else and I'm only ever staying back if I need help or if he wants to ask if I got the class" I said to her.
"so there's nothing other than him being your teacher going on" she said.
"nope" I said but I felt bad for lying to her.
"but I've seen you two together outside of school driving home together" she said.
SHIT what do I say.
"err that's because it was cold and he offered to take me home because we live next to each other" I said to her.
"but it all just seems like you two are dating" she said. because we are I thought.
"wait one sec, ill be back" I said leaving her in the classroom while I went to Shawn's classroom.
I walked in and sat down on the edge of his desk. he smiled at me and rested his hands on y thighs.
"Shawn I-I cant do this anymore" I said on the verge of tears.
"wait, what do you mean" he said to me looking scared.
"I cant do this anymore shawn" I said to him again.
"you cant do us or you cant do something else" he said that I was going to say us.
"no of course I can do us but I cant keep this from jade anymore" I said crying into his chest because I was now straddling him.
"we can tell her but we just need to make sure she wont tell anyone but I doubt she will do that anyway because she's such a sweet girl" he said running my back up and down.
"I know she wont, she's like my sister" I said to him.
"when do you want to tell her" he said
"now" I said jumping off of his lap and dragging him up and to the classroom next door to his.
we walked into the classroom and jade was still sat where I left her, I walked over to the table with Shawn's hand in mine, she covered her mouth, she jumped up and started smiling like crazy.
"omg you two are so cute I knew there was something going on" she said hugging us both.
"Mr Mendes if you ever hurt her, I will cut your dick off" she said sternly.
"don't worry I will never hurt her" he said hugging my waist from behind and kissing my neck.
"what's your first name Mr Mendes because its a bit weird to call you Mr Mendes when your my best friends boyfriend" she said.
"oh haha its shawn" he said.
"okay I'm going to go to registration" she said.
"bye jade" me and shawn both said.
"I'm gonna go too" I said to him
"okay but one quick kiss" he said and I leaned in and our lips attacked and we kissed for about 30 seconds and pulled away and I went to registration.
