I shook as he yelled, but I regained my posture because I didn't like to look frightened.
" Where's my sugar? " he asked with a calm voice. I think he was trying not to scare me more than I already was and I was thankful, because he looks and sounds intimidating.
" Sir, you didn't ask for any sugar. " I said carefully, afraid that I would anger him. I did remember he only asked for his black coffee.
" You should of known who I am and what coffee I drink. " he said while smirking. And I just wanted to smack that handsome smirk from his face because he was too proud.
" Well with all due respect, whoever you are, I shouldn't know because I don't work for you everyday to make your coffee and you aren't important to me. " I emphasized to him so he would understand.
" You will, once your fired from this job. See you soon sweetheart. " He said with that handsome jerk- smirk on his face. And with what he said, he left with his coffee and went out the door.
I felt a little heat, rushing to my cheeks, and I couldn't believe that he had the nerve to call me sweetheart and he even left with his coffee that he was complaining about!
Throughout my whole shift, I couldn't stop thinking about that arrogant man. I couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling that I've felt in my stomach. I wonder if something bad will happen to me.
My boss called me in after my shift was done and I have a feeling it must have been that jerk- face. Well, I better be ready to hear those two words from him and find another job.
