Chapter 5.2

Recap:
"He is Alex Anderson, the CEO of his billion dollar company!" He said smirking awaiting for my expression.

My eyes turned wide from what I was hearing. The man who basically fired me for not liking his coffee is, the Alex Anderson! The hardworking  man who built his business at age 23 and the CEO of his company. I've heard of him but why didn't I think of knowing how he even looked like?

My mouth was slightly open but no words came out. I was shocked, how could I not know? My heart begins to beat twice as fast, each second. I didn't know, I thought he was a regular business man! I tried not to stagger back with my steps, but I was getting dizzy with this news.

"I can not believe this!" I suddenly exclaimed, making Sammy jump a bit from my sudden reaction. He expected me to immediately say something but I guess I took long and scared him with my abrupt exclamation.

"He fired me from his job because he didn't like his coffee and that is unexceptable. Just because he's Mr.Billionaire, it doesnt give him the right to fire people! He doesn't give good instructions. I ranted on, but Sammy touched my shoulders to calm me down.

"Girl, Evie calm down okay?" He said gently, worried that I might run out of breath from how fast I was speaking.

"Okay." I said as I sighed deeply.

"Take deep breaths" He said looking at my eyes. "Breathe In" I inhaled, closing my eyes. "Breathe Out" then I exhaled, and slowly opened them.

He guided me to the empty bench in the corner of Victorias Secret and he placed me on the seat gently, letting go my sholders and continued to hold my hands.

"I've never seen you so angry like this and it's quite funny actually. Look how cute your pouty lips are!" He said amazed, holding onto my chin.

I swatted his hands in a playful way. But my facial expression turned serious. "But seriously, do you think he's planning something?" I said curious. He looked confused so I contuniued my explanation.

"Because my Boss gave me an application from the Alexander Company, a position to be a personal assistant for the CEO. Do you think he had anything to do with this?" I asked Sammy who was deep into his thoughts.

"Maybe he wants you, because you're different." He said amused but also worried.

I was perplexed and scared, what did he mean by wanted me because I'm different?

"Well, whatever he's planning for, let's make sure your ready for what will happen next." Sammy said with determination in his eyes and a slight smirk on his lips.

      My girl isn't to be played with

"You'll be a part of his game, but you won't play by his rules." He said determined.

"His game, what do you mean?" I said confused.

"What I mean is, let's go shopping!" He said excitingly as he dragged me to the next store.
