The queen moved on. Her kingdom was growing, more supporters than ever. Though, she never had told her supporter about the king that picked to satisfy his monster. She had never gotten over it, she hadn't forgiven him, but she decided mourning would not make her any more happier.

Instead of dragging herself like a lost puppy, she became happier, she changed herself. She never changed to impress anyone, she changed to make herself feel better. She traded her depressing black gowns to lighter, freer colors. She let her hair down natural, and she made a pack with herself.

Never shall she ever change herself for a guy.

She didn't.

She never did.

Maybe that's why she gained so many followers. They looked up to her. But, never did she looked down at them.

They were all equal. She shared her happiness with her kingdom.

One of the people she shared her happiness with was a merchant. They had met at a local theater gathering down in the town.

The merchant had fallen in love. However, the queen was hesitant. She wasn't over what the king had done to her.

The merchant never let go. The queen did not want to be with the merchant. Not because of his position, she just was not ready for a serious relationship. Though the merchant hung on, he never let go.

"Why not?" The queen thought.

And thus started an awful chain of events.

The queen never wanted to start something with the merchant. However, she did not want to make anyone in her kingdom depressed.

So, they got together. And the merchant fell hard. He pushed the queen. Pressured. And when the queen did not budge, he got angry; violent.

The queen did not react to this. After all, she was used to this treatment. Was it not ordinary? Didn't love wreck every part of you?

Of course it did.

She had always heard stories about how love should lift you up, not tear you down.

"Only fairytales should speak of such lies." she convinced herself.

Yet, as the weeks passed, the merchant got more and more ferocious.

One day, the queen was sitting on her throne as a knight entered the room. "Ma'dam" he spoke with his low voice. "There are riots across our land."

"For what reason, noble knight?" the Queen questioned.

"The merchant, he is claiming you are pregnant with is child. Half the kingdom is in distress."

This upsetted the Queen, and rightfully so, for it had not been true. She was always the King's even though he was not her's. No way was she going to sell herself to anyone but her King.

She took it upon herself to go down to the kingdom and assure the people that the lies spoken by this once lover, were false and she had no need of a man that would speak of such lies.

The merchant was in the crowd as the Queen spoke. He was aggrevated and in the spur of the moment, he grabbed his sword, charging towards the Queen.

Luckily, the Knight was there and grabbed the Queen throwing her on the back of his horse.

They dashed into the horizen never to be seen again.
