"Most royal Ma'dam. Why do you let this be so?" she asked. "You are not happy with this knight. I can see it in your eyes."
The queen did not like the princess' questioning of her judgement. As she was tired of proving herself to everyone in her life. Through clenched teeth, and with a soft melancholy voice she managed to let out her rebuttal. "Princess, I can assure you my decisions are not your business."
"Your Highness, I most certainly did not mean my words to be taken as the words of a traitor. I simply care about your well being." The Princess sat on the bed next to the Queen, taking her hand.
The Queen looked at the Princess as she debated with herself if she could tell her what her plan was. Unable to decide she sat herself up, staring into the eyes of her good old friend.
"I need assistance." The Queen spoke firmly.
Unsure of what the Queen meant, the Princess assessed the situation. The Queen saw the hesitance in the Princess' eyes and chose to elaborate.
"Princess, you are all I have to my name. You, my trustworthy friend, I need your assistance in traveling far and wide to search for my once love. I have made my decision. I am going to find him. I am going to be with my true love."
As the Princess was about to explain to the Queen the risks of such actions, there was a voice by the door.
"No need, my Queen."
