Lunae tackled Jaxx to the ground and wagged her tail. Jaxx laughed for a second then told her that his dad wanted her to give him the alpha title or he would kill her. Lunae jumped off of him went to the dark corner, shifted and got dressed. She walked back toward him and wrapped her arms around his neck and said" If it means I get to live and it's you that gets my title, but not until after the knee and said "I had a special date planned but life got in the way. As long as you are in my life I will be happy. I have one exception though you have to be mine forever. So what do you say will you be mine and marry me?" Lunae smiled and said " I thought you would never ask." Jaxx picked her up and carried her back to her dorm. When they got to her dorm Scarlett was waiting in the living room.

Lunae jumped out of Jaxx's arms and went to hug Scarlett. Scarlett smiled and said " I take it he finally asked you to marry him after four years of being together." Lunae smiled and nodded her head. Scarlett's mate Tenebris appeared in the living room, hugged Scarlett and said " congrats you two." Lunae smiled, walked back to Jaxx and held his hand as she laid her head on his. Jaxx looked down and her and kissed her forehead. Lunae sensed a presence on the territory. She started to go see who dared to cross into her territory until she realized soon she won't be alpha anymore. Jaxx grabbed her hand and they walked out together. A reddish grey wolf stood in front of them. The wolf looked at Lunae then saw her and Jaxx's hands and growled. Lunae growled and demanded to know who and what business the wolf wanted. The wolf shook and the fur started turning midnight black. Lunae let go of Jaxx's hand and walked away as she said" You take care of him." She heard a whimper and a couple seconds later Lunae felt a hand on her arm.

By the tingles running up her arm she knew it was Flare. She yanked her arm out of his grip. Flare noticed the engagement ring. He took the ring off and threw it on the ground. Flare then grabbed her by the waist, pulling her close and bit her neck marking her as his. As soon as Flare let go Lunae fell to the ground crying. He tried to talk but Lunae screamed " I hate you, leave me alone". With those words Flare left and Jaxx ran to her. Jaxx picked Lunae off the ground and carried her to the room. He laid her down and covered her in the blanket. She woke up the next morning suddenly remembering what happened. She sat up quickly put her slippers on and ran to the bathroom. As she looked in the mirror she saw that on her neck instead of a bite mark there was now a sun tattoo with a swirl in the middle colors of gold, black and purple. Lunae cried and ran down the stairs to find Jaxx. As she got toward the kitchen she overheard Jaxx telling Scarlett that he let Flare mark her. Scarlett started yelling at him and as she did so Lunae ran back up the stairs wrote a note and right before she jumped out the window rain told her some information on her brother. She shifted into her wolf form and ran into the forest behind the house. She ran as far as her legs could take her. As she slowed down and came to a stop Lucifer materialized in front of her. He said" It has been too long my child. Why are you running away from your pack. I made you Alpha for a reason now go back and show them why you are Alpha. I also never liked Jaxx and that is all I have to say." Lunae took a deep breath shifted in a mid-human form keeping her fangs and claws. She got dressed and ran back to the pack house.

As soon as she opened the door she growled and walked straight toward Jaxx as she growled loud. Jaxx looked at her and said " Calm down my love you'll be fine" Scarlett nudged him and said "Dude you really pissed her off now and honestly you deserve everything that is coming to you." Jaxx backed up as far as he could. Lunae grinned and kept walking toward him. She then mind linked him and said "You betrayed me Jaxx. I am Alpha Lunae Theia Widow. I can and very much so will banish you from this pack. I have the power to make your nightmares a reality. If you don't want me to tear you to pieces I suggest that you strip yourself of the beta title and get off my land for all eternity." Jaxx laughed and said " Darling you wouldn't do that you love me and we have been through everything together." Lunae growled and responded " Want to test that thought of yours. I have gave you multiple chances to be better and you haven't. At this point you are way worse than your brother. This is my pack and they stand behind me because I stand behind them. You have been planning on stabbing me in the back since I killed your brother. Sure you mixed up a little to have it work better with me receiving the Alpha title. But you knew that I wanted a mate more than anything so you decided you were going to play with my heart and break me to a million pieces. Don't think that I won't tear you to shreds."

Flare walked in diffusing the darkness that now filled the room. Jaxx ran at Flare. Lunae growled and flung Jaxx back with the darkness radiating around her. Jaxx hit the granite countertop smashing it into pieces. Lunae looked at Jaxx with a satisfied smile on her face and gave Scarlett a partial nod. Scarlett smiled and picked Jaxx up by the collar of his shirt then disappeared.
