In the next three months the pain had finally subsided from the rejection. Lunae was finally feeling like herself again. She was happy and content. Jaxx had set up a date for that night. Jaxx had gone to Lunae and asked if she wanted to go on a date with him. She smiled and said " of course but you honestly didn't have to ask me silly." Jaxx laughed and responded " I know we have been together since we were 18. but we made our promise when we were 16 and you know how much I care about what you think before doing anything like this. You also know that I would stick through anything with you. I know it is painful to think about, but your banishment was the hardest day in my life. Rain and I know that you couldn't control your powers when you were twelve and I know your rage caused my brother's death but I will never blame you for his death. He honestly did things to you that would never be okay. Then for my father to just take his side and not believe you is crazy. You had every right to lash out. You were 15 and he was 21 that is not okay and to take something that can never be given back and wreck your future with your mate." Lunae balled her fists and said " stop talking about it I don't ever want to talk about my banishment and what lead to it so don't bring it up again. "

Lunae wen to office to get pack business taken care of. She saw a request for a meeting with Alpha Lux. She called Flare and when he answered she said " Hello this is Alpha Widow of the Black Moon pack. I noticed a request for a meeting on my desk. What is the meaning of this meeting you would like with my pack and I?" Flare said "Yes there was a recent rouge attack on our land and I have hundreds of warriors dying by their hands. I want to discuss an alternative way to defeat the rouges." Lunae laughed and said " we sent an alternative method months ago but some of the details might be confusing for an alpha as cold hearted as you."

Flare scoffed" well maybe we should just discuss this matter now instead of a meeting if you're going to laugh and insult me." Lunae sighed " no a meeting will be sufficient for this information. Considering the nature of the information. I did not mean to offend yo. My apologies Alpha Lux." Flare mumbled under his breath " whatever Lunae." Lunae growled and yelled " You were the one who rejected who broke me to pieces, I was willing to give up everything I had known and loved, leave the person who supported me through everything. He left everything he knew his family and friends for me. He became a rouge to be there when no one else was. So don't you dare whatever me. When you feel like I am not being serious or if I offend you and you can't grow up. I wouldn't mess with me I was only four when my parents died by my own hands. Not to mention the werewolf king's oldest son had raped me when I was 15 and his father took his side so for a whole 3 years I was locked up and every day that sick son of his continued his torture until I finally snapped and I killed him. The werewolf king only banished me. And now I had to deal with the unbearable pain of the rejection thanks to you. Lunae looked up and saw Jaxx standing in the door way paralyzed. Lunae said " come here. I need to calm down, that was Alpha Flare Lux. He wanted a meting a meeting to discuss alternative ways to get rid of the rouges." Jaxx sat in her lap and said "you didn't have to blow up like that. What would happen if your powers got out of control again. I don't want what happened to Fang to happen to someone else, Plus my dad will find you and try to kill you again." Lunae took a deep breath and calmed her nerves. " I love you" flowed from his mind to hers and she smiled. Scarlett walked into the room. She said" Jaxx, Lunae, rain is on the phone." Scarlett handed Lunae the phone to Lunae. Lunae answered" Hey Rain what's going on? " Rain replied " My father is here and wondering where you are." Lunae looked at Jaxx with fear in her eyes and her fists started to trembled. Jaxx growled and lead her to the safe house they had built underground in the woods near the campus. Lunae was there for what seemed like hours. In reality only ten minutes had passed by.

Jaxx was in the dorm room with Scarlett talking about the recent rouge attacks, When the werewolf king kicked the door down. When the king saw his son he smirked and said " Hello son, long time since I saw you last. I spoke to your sister not that long ago. She informed me that Hale left the pack and gave the Alpha title to you. I would say that I'm proud but we both know that is a lie." Jaxx held his fists by his side balled up tight and said " so then why don't you inform me on why you are here. It's surely not a reunion." Jaxx's dad replied" I came for your mate. She broke the laws of banishment. You know fully I must kill her under the laws set centuries ago." Jaxx looked at his dad with a cold stare and said" If you're looking for Lunae then go to Alpha Lux's territory. He is her mate and honestly dad I have been running this pack. I call all the Alphas and hold the meetings, along with reaching out for support. Lunae was just my Luna, so enough of this discussion and go find her."

Jaxx's dad smirked again and responded " bullshit I can tell when your lying. But if she doesn't give you the Alpha title I will kill her. Do you understand? One more thing keep her powers in check. While you're at it call off the attacks." Jaxx growled and said" Hale widow is behind all the rouge attacks not us. Tenebris is keeping an eye on Lunae's powers he understands them more than anything else. Thanks to her rejection from Alpha Lux we have to keep an extra close eye on her." His dad spoke the words" I have to go, bye son" By the time Jaxx got to Lunae she had already shifted into her wolf form.
