Chapter 21

«Naomi»

Isaiah gets on my nerves. I walked in the house and slammed the door. My mom and Jimmy are out probably high somewhere. I went in the kitchen and looked inside the fridge and found nothing.

"Great."I said. I sighed and pulled out my phone.

"Now you wanna talk."Isaiah said through the phone. I rolled my eyes.

"Come over and get something to eat."I said. He sighed.

"I'll be over in a minute."He said.

"Alright love you."I said.

"Mhmm love you too."He hung up.

I shouldn't be mad at Isaiah but I'm just a little mad he choose to join the gang. I personally know what's it like in a gang. Shit my real dad is in the drug business. He lives in Miami too. Him and my mom got divorced when my mom decided to cheat and do drugs. I stay in contact with my father. I would even say I'm a daddies girl. I was interrupted by the door. I opened it and stepped to the side to let Isaiah in.

"I got pizza and I'm really sorry for yelling in the car."He said.

"No I'm sorry I shouldn't have yelled first I just don't want you to get hurt."I said.

"How long have you known Jojo?"He asked.

"Um since middle school."

"How long he been in the gang?"

"Before I even met him."

"See baby I'll be fine I promise." He said holding my face.

"Promise?"I said. He nodded and kissed me.

"Lets take the pizza to my room."I said grabbing the pizza.

"You live here by yourself."He asked.

"Um no with my mom and her boyfriend."I said.

"Where are they."He asked.

"Um out."I half lied. Well they are out.

"Okay what movie?"He asked.

"Just pick one."I said changing into a long shirt and boy shorts. I climbed in bed with him eating pizza.

"Really Friday."I said laughing.

"And you know this man."He said copying Smokey. We started laughing. We watched the movie until it was over.

"Babe I gotta go."He said getting up.

"No stay with me."I whined.

"I'll be back later. Make sure you open the door."He said. I just gave him an extra key.

"Bye baby."I said walking him to the door.

"Bye."He said giving me a kiss and leaving. I went back to my room and laid down. I mind as well sleep until he get back. I went to sleep.

«Jojo»

We picked up Isaiah from Naomis house and took off to the trap. I introduced him to everybody. I didn't have to explain allot to him since he worked with his uncle in NY.

"Alright now. Noah call everyone in here."I instructed. Everyone came in my office and sat down.

"Alright I just got a call that Joe will be here in a couple weeks for a meeting. I won't be in town so Noah is in charge. I want everyone doing what they supposed to do and no bullshit. Got it."I said.

"Yes boss."The answered.

"Alright now bye."I said dismissing them.

"So what's next."Isaiah asked.

"Get strapped we going somewhere."I said.

"Already am."He said showing his gun

"Alright lets go."We got in my car. We pulled up to some guys house that owes me money. We busted through the house. Noah and Cortez went to get the guy I wanted and Isaiah and I got the other people. Which was a little boy and a girl our age. I ain't gonna lie she was pretty fine.

"Jojo I said I'll get your money."He said.

"Yeah three months ago Simone. Where the fuck it at!"I yelled hitting him with my gun. His wife screamed.

"Man I'll have it by next week I swear!"He begged.

"Imma give you until the end of THIS week. Until then."I shoot him on his arm his kids screamed.

"That will give you a hint what I'll do to you and your family got it!"I threatened.

"Got it man."He said grabbing his arm. I nodded to the guys and they hit all of them making them pass out.

"Here y'all go."I said giving people their money for today.

"You ready Isaiah?"I said.

"Yeah me drop off at Naomi house."He said.

"Nigga you whipped."I said laughing.

"How? Your the one who got a baby on the way."He said laughing

"You got a point."I admitted. Shit I'll do anything for Vanessa and Chrissy.

"Bye nigga."I said giving him dap.

"Alright."He said getting out the car. I drove home. I went to Chrissys room to check on her. She was sleep.

I went to my room and Vanessa was up looking mad watching TV. I took a shower and put some boxers on.

"What's wrong with you?"I asked her. She rolled her eyes.

"Some hoe called and asked for you. Wanna explain?"She asked. I sucked my teeth. Here we go.

"Man Vanessa you know I ain't chatting on you so calm down."I said getting in bed and laying down.

"No Jojo I don't know. Get the fuck up."She yelled in my ear.

"Vanessa get out of my ear with all of that. I told you what's up. You gonna believe me or some random ass girl?"I asked sitting up looking at her.

"How she get our house number?"She asked. I sighed I don't feel like arguing.

"I don't know. Can you just lay down and chill."I said calmly.

"No I'm not going to lay down with you! You lying piece of-"I cut her of by kissing her. She tried to struggle out my arms but didn't succeed. I bring her to the bed and undressed her.

«Naomi»

I was woken up by the bed deep. I know it was Isaiah because I can smell his cologne. I wrapped my arm around his torso.

"You lock the door?"I asked with my eyes closed.

"Mhmm now go back to sleep."He said and I did just that.

*Next Morning*

I woke up before Isaiah. He looked cute sleeping. I took a picture of him and used it as my home screen.

"Stop taking pictures of me."He said with his eyes closed. I waved my hands over his eyes. He grabbed my hand and rolled onto of me. I giggled as he stared in my eyes.

"Good morning."He said.

"Good morning."I said pecking his lips.

"Eww your breath stinks."He said. I smacked his chest.

"Yours don't smell minty either now get your fat self off."I said trying to push him off.

"Dat not nice."He said.

"I don't care now get up."I said shrugging. He got up and we walked to my bathroom. I gave him a extra tooth brush.
