Chapter 24

Vanessa-

"Oh my god."I said taking a look at the house.We just got home and it was trashed. It looked like someone broke in.

"Baby stay right here while I check the rest of the house."Jojo said taking out his gin and walking around the house. I walked around the living room.

Our picture frames were crashed on the ground so there was glass everywhere. Our furniture was ruined. Even some of it was even missing.

"All the rooms are trashed. Pack up stuff that isn't destroyed that you need because we can't stay here."Jojo sighed and went somewhere in the house. I sighed and went upstairs.

I dug threw my draws pulling out all my clothes that weren't ruined. As I carried the pile of clothes to the bed a piece of paper fell. I put the clothes down and picked up the note. It said:

Dear Bitch,

You better watch your back and your man you stupid hoe. You think you can just take my man and then pretend your all that? No honey you aren't! I want revenge! Your family won't be safe especially that little baby your carrying. I will get what is mine and you'll be dead. This is a heads up. See you soon.

Your Worst Nightmare

I put my hands over my mouth as I read the note. I put it down and finished packing my stuff up. I went to Chrissys room and did the same. After that I picked up our bags and the note and went to go find Jojo.

"Baby I'm-woah."I said finding him in his office putting so much money in a duffel bag.

"You got everything?"He asked still stuffing the bags.

"Yeah and you might wanna read this."I handed him the paper and watched him read it. His facial expression showed that he was mad.

"Fuck man! Let's go my bag is already packed."He said walking past me with the bags in his hand. I huffed and walked behind him carrying Chrissys and I bag. We sold Cinnamon yesterday because she was getting too big for Chrissy so we didn't have to get her. We got in the car and drove off to Chrissys school. We have to get her out early since school isn't out for her yet.

(She's in preschool)

I told Jojo I'll get her. I walked into the office and asked to get her out early. After a few minutes she came out looking like the happiest kid ever. It kinda put a smile on my face.

"Hey mommy."She said running into my arms. I picked her up and walked out to the car.

"Hey baby how was your day?"I asked her as I stopped her in her car seat.

"Hey daddy! I did so much fun stuff. We made puppets and everything. See."She pulled out a puppet from her backpack and showed us.

"That's nice baby girl."Jojo said. I got in the front and we drove off. Honestly I don't know where we're going.

"Daddy where we going?"Chrissy asked.

"Well we're going to a hotel to have fun."He said with a fake happy expression.

"Oh fun!"Only if she knew that our lives are in danger. We pulled up to this nice hotel. The guys took our bags as we checked in. We got a presidential suit so it was so huge.

"Oh look a pool can we go swimming? Please daddy."Chrissy asked as she looked out the window.

"Not right now okay. Go play on your iPad."Jojo responded. I gave her the iPad and she ran off to some room. I sighed and got on the bed. I rubbed Jojo shoulders.

"Babe we'll be okay."

"No we're not. Somebody is out for us and you think this is going to be alright.

"I'm not saying that I just need you to calm down."

"VANESSA I'M NOT GOING TO CALM DOWN!"

"Why are you YELLING?"

"Because your not seeing the point.Ugh I'll be back."

"Jojo where are you going?"

I got up and followed behind him as he walked towards the door.

"Don't go please." I said blocking the door. We started at each other. After a while he finally gave up and walked to the living room with Chrissy. I smiled and went to the kitchen to make us something to eat.
