The Return of the Titans (Attack on Titan fanfic)

Fighting at The Dinner Table!

That night, at dinner, everyone crowded Eren. Tonu and I had been sitting across from Eren, Mikasa and Armin. But once word had somehow gotten 'round that he'd seen a titan up close, he was swarmed by questioneers, so Tonu and I were shoved out of the way. "So You really saw a titan up close?!"

"I bet he's just fibbing."

"NO Way!"

"Is it so?!"

"That's crazy! I mean it ate your mother?"

Eren froze with a spoon loaded with stew and winced at the question.His eyes flitted from the questioneer and back down a few times. Mikasa stared at him for a moment."I think he's done with question time, guys." said Tonu as he pushed his way through the crowd and placed his hands on Erens shoulders. Someone laughed and said, "Hmph, let Ickle Eren tell us about how terrible it was to see his mother die. The titans aren't that bad you know..." Eren eyes widened and his faced reddened slightly. I looked over everyone and saw Jean in a small fit of silent giggles. Eren stood up menacingly with his head down, his eyes hidden by his hair. The other trainees cleared a way as he slowly walked toward Jean. Jean stopped his giggling, stood up, and glared a smug look of victory at Eren. "Aw" He balled his hands and put them to his cheeks and stuck out his lower lip. "Is Ickle Eren mad about his mo-"

Eren had struck Jean in his temple before Jean could finish his taunt. Eren raised his head. "Shut the hell up."

Jean, who had been kneeling and massaging his temple stood up straight. He rammed Eren up against the wall. Eren's head snapped backwards and hit the wall with a painful sounding thud. Ever try that again and I'll-" The front door had creaked open and there stood Headmaster. "What's all the commotion in here?" He said ominously. Jean released Eren and seemed to want to say something. But then Mikasa raised her hand " Sasha farted, sir."

Sasha who had been sitting next to Mikasa, gave a silent screech and her cheeks reddened. "Ah" spoke Headmaster looking slightly unnerved, "I see.." He closed the door and left. Everyone seemed to hang in the frozen atmosphere. Eren snorted and soved Jean aside, "Lets go." Eren, Mikasa and Armin walked stiffly out of the mess hall and into the darkness of camp. I glanced over at Jean, then nudged Tonu to follow me and we walked out as well. I never want to witness that again.
