They were all tense. The man with many questions sat at a desk in the back of the room.I had been moved again and again they had tried to confiscate my weapons but I managed to hide a few. Sadly I couldn't hide the katana because they would wonder where it was. I propped my feet up on his desk and placed my cuffed hands on my lap. "So General what ya' wanna know?" They all except for Snake Eyes of course he never underestimated me looked surprised. "It's on his desk for Pete's sake." I said motioning the the plaque in exasperation. "How big an idiot do you take me for?" I was mad because Snake Eyes made them search me again so now I was left with poisoned hair pins, throwing knives and a small revolver. "So your name is Griffin." I keep a strait face showing no emotion at my temple name. The redhead scoffs. "What kind of name is that!" "Shut up Scarlet." I said in English before switching to Japanese "You redheaded pig." "What'd you say?" She asked taking a step forward. I starred at her undaunted. I lifted an eyebrow. "Am I supposed to be scared cause if so you don't know the first thing about real fear. Not the fairytale stuff. The kind of fear that legends are made of, the kind of fear that creates the monster under a child's bed,the kind of fear that children have nightmares about,that kind of fear that keeps boys and grown men from wandering the dark alley for fear of the monster that might come out. That monster is me. That is real fear. The kind that makes you freeze with terror. As for me knowing your name I know because I know and that is all you kneed to know whatever you know about me is what I decide to tell you." Scarlet for once looked speechless. The General cleared his throat. "Moving on Snake Eyes said that you are his sword sister correct?" "He did did he." I said turning to face him to them I was just starring at him with wide unblinking masked eyes. But he knew the meaning behind them. As expected he flinched slightly. "Both of my sword brothers are dead. They died long ago." I said my face expressionless as I turned back around. I could see Snake Eyes stiffen out of the corner of my eye but no one else noticed. "People change in 12 years. Besides you left not me." I said in Japanese not turning. They all seemed shocked even though they didn't understand me they could tell I was furious by my angry and dismissive tone as if it was something everyone knew. I could tell that he was deeply respected and no one dared to talk to him like that. So I was enjoying disrespecting him. "So what else?" I asked him. He cleared his throat again." What training do you have?" "Enough." "What is your code name?" "The Enchantress." "Real name." "Classified." "Age." "Classified." "Relations." "Classified."              "Affiliations." "Classified." "Birthplace." "Classified." "Race." "Classified." "Is that on your file?" "Don't know." "How come?" "Don't have one. No one ever could find enough facts bout me to put into a file. They only ever found out what I wanted them to. If rarely ever they found out more than I wanted I destroyed they." I said with such a calmness that they shivered. "Choice weapon." "None." "What! Everyone has a choice weapon. Your lying." Scarlet butted in. "Not me. Everyone's different. Why shouldn't I lie? Besides I believe the saying goes 'ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies.' Isn't that right brother dearest." I said with mock affection I scoffed. Deciding that I had had enough I stood while dropping the cuffs that I had picked. Dropping my hands on the General's desk I said. "Now before I leave I'll ask you just once what do you want." "Well you certainly do get to that point. I want to keep you here and train you to become a Joe." There were lots of whispers in the back. But Scarlet said what was on everyone's mind's. "With all do respect sir. Have you lost it!" "More than likely the only time I will ever say this to you. I agree with you Scarlet. Has the cheese slipped of you cracker Hawk!?!" "No it hasn't. I've seen you fight. You are undeniably an amazing fighter. You took out Snake Eyes and you said that you were always the only one who could ever best him so that would be a wonderful asset." I scoffed. "Hmph. I don't kneed you to tell me something I already know. I do what I want,when I want,and for what ever reason I want. I don't kneed a boss,coworkers or anyone. I work alone. Now if you'll excuse me I have a few things to do." They blocked my path I slid out my throwing knives out growling. "How did you get those?" Asked no in particular. "It doesn't matter. But what does is. The fact of the matter is I beat your top fighter Snake Eyes. I'll fight this entire base over twice and win if it means I get out. I don't kill nicely. So step aside as you value your life." I glared. They parted. I threw a mock salute at them and boldly sauntered out taking down all who dared to cross my path.

Back in General Hawks office

Scarlet turned to Snake Eyes." Was she always that bold?" He signed as if to say 'you have no idea.' "Well Snake Eyes since your the only one here who actually knows her fill us in on the details." Said the General. 'Well, her temple name was Griffin. We trined together when we were young. As you know she was my sword sister.' "Was?" Interrupted Scarlet. He flinched as if he'd been hit. 'Yes. When I was around 12 our master was killed by Storm Shadow. That was a terrible blow for her she was only 11. You see Storm Shadow was her sword brother as well as mine. She never cried infront on anyone else but I found her one day crying. Then less than a week later I was leaving. With the hurt of the murder Hard Master,the betrayal of Storm Shadow, then my leaving. It was to much for her. She ran away......we didn't part on good terms. I think she joined Cobra I don't know. I'm not sure after that. Then she became The Enchantress. That's all I know.' "Thank you Snake. But when she was young did she have a favorite weapon?" He paused. 'Come to think of it not really. She was always good with any weapon. I know this much she is Not someone you want as an enemy.' "Since your the one who knows her better than anyone we have here. You will try to bring her back. Here's the plan......"
