Chapter 2: I've Never Seen Him Before

~Jayy's POV~

"This stupid girl is taking forever with our food." I complained. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"I want her. It's been a while since--" My friend Jade started before I cut her off.

"No."

She huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. That girl loved feeding off of humans. All of us did, but there was something about her that made Jade more dangerous.

I watched her impatiently drum her fingers on the table. I pulled her close to me. She kissed my neck as my hand rubbed her leg. I kissed her brown cheek. We aren't together. We're just close friends. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. What close friends act like this? Well I'll tell you what friends. US. Now fuck off.

Some guy walked into the restaurant with a kid. He sat at a booth a few tables down.

"Does he look familair?" One of my other friends, Andy, asked.

Jade looked closer at him. "I remember seeing him somewhere..." She tried to place her finger on it. "Last night." She finally said.

"What?" Andy and I said together.

"Last night he was watching us."

"So he saw the show." Ashley said with a smirk.

"What are you guys talking about?" Rose, who was the other girl at the table, asked.

Jade smirked, laughing slightly. "Last night we burned this bitch's house to the ground. Satan will love to see her in hell."

My attention went back to the boy. We watched him silently. He sighed, taking a look at the menu. His head looked in our direction as if he felt that he was being watched and we all turned away. The waitress finally came with our food. No one thanked her and she walked off.

"Bitch isn't getting a tip from me." CC muttered and Jake and Jinxx nodded in agreement.

I couldn't help but glance at the guy. His hair was awesome. Jade looked in the direction I was. She rolled her brown eyes, shaking her head at me. Did she not see that hair?

"Let's go." Andy said knudging me after he and Jake payed for everyone. We got up and walked past their table. The guy looked at me briefly before looking away. The others had to literally pull/push me out of the restaraunt.

"What's up with you? You see one guy and suddenly can't speak." CC said. I just shook my head as I thought about the guy. Who was he? I never saw him before.

The sound of a baby crying broke me away from all my thoughts. Jade covered her ears, yelling for someone to 'shut the damn baby up'. She hated kids with a passion. I honestly think she wouldn't hesitate to kill one. That's not a good thing.

We ended up going to my house. I shared it with Jade. The guys lived a few houses down. I parked my car in front of the house. Jinxx pulled up in his car behind me. Jade and Rose hopped out of my car and walked up the path to the front door. I followed them inside. The guys weren't too far behind and Andy joined Jade, who was on the couch. She layed across his lap. I loved seeing them together.

They were laughing quietly. It brought a smile to my face seeing my little girl so happy. Ever since she met him, she came to enjoy life more. My babygirl was growing up. I sound so old saying that but she's always has been and always will be my baby.

"I love your ass though." Andy chuckled. Why when I finally break out of my thoughts, that's the first thing I hear?

Jade pushed him in a playful way. "Aw, you guys are so cute." I cooed. They smiled and Andy kissed her lightly on the lips.

"Love you." They said at the same time.

CC came up behind me and jumped on them. Jade groaned. "I LOVE YOU GUYS TOO!"

"It's a good thing I like you Coma." Andy said with a slight laugh.

"Why don't we watch a movie?" Jinxx suggested, taking a seat on the floor. Everyone murmured in agreement. Ashley picked out Sweeny Todd. We basically spent the whole day watching movies.

"You guys up for truth or dare?" I ask them.

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" CC bounced in his spot on the floor.

"Okay, who goes--" I was cut off by laughing. Jade went to go see what was going on.

"HEY! GET THE FUCK OFF MY PROPERTY!" She shouted.

"Make us!" Some kid yelled. Shit, shit, shit. I ran to the door and wrapped my arms around her to prevent her from doing anything.

She managed to get out of my grip and went to grab the kid who said that to her. Grabbing him by the front of his shirt, Jade roughly picked him up. She threw him across the lawn. He landed two houses down. I winced because I know that he broke something. The other kids ran off.

Jade looked up at me and walked inside like nothing just happened. She worried me. I shut the door behind me. When we came back over to the couch, the others questioned us about what happened.

"Damn kids." Jade simply replied. Ashley had taken her place on the couch so she sat in Andy's lap.

"Jade, you can't just...throw a kid. It's one thing if it was somone our age but they were kids." I tell her. Her brow furrowed.

"They're still humans. I will do whatever I please."

I sighed. Jade had to learn that hurting people doesn't solve all life's problems.

"So what was up with you and that guy?" Andy asked. "Do you know him?"

I shook my head. "I've never seen him before in my life."

"Then can I have him?" Jade looked up at me hopefully.

"No, I want him." What? Why should I care about some random guy?

Rose laughed. "Are we still playing truth or dare?"

I smiled. "Hell yeah!"
