~Jayy's POV~

So, like Andy suggested, I tried to get to know Cole better, but of course all the bitch did was ignore me. I asked him his favorite color and he just gave me a look. Then I asked what he liked to do for fun. Once again, I was ignored. It was really starting to annoy me. My eyes flickered red out of irritation. Stay calm Jayy. Don't scare him off.

Andy typed away on his phone. Probably texting Jade. Arien's gaze was fixed on the tv. Adventure Time was on. Cole was also watching the show, but every once in a while would sneak a glance at me. He was so hard to read. With anyone else, I could tell what they were feeling. But Cole? He was a whole different story. I actually kind of liked that. He was a mystery. Hard to figure out. It just makes me want him more and more.

"Why are you ignoring me?" I ask Cole angrily. "I'm trying to be nice but you just act like I didn't say a thing." He simply looked at me for a moment. I thought he wasn't going to say anything, but surprisingly, he did.

"I know what you did." He blurted out. I looked at him confused. What did he mean by that? He started to explain. "That night you burned the woman's house. I saw you. You shouldn't be here. You can't be trusted." Who would anyone actually tell someone that? I glanced at Andy. He was smirking. Well no wonder. Arien's face was dark. I let out a small sigh.

"So you saw us standing around. But we didn't do it. You have to understand that." I reached out to touch Cole. He moved away.

"No. I think you should leave." He says bitterly. I growl and get up.

"You'll regret ever saying no to me." I grab Andy and we leave the house. I slam the door forcefully behind us. Son of a bitch!

I threw the door to my house open. Andy followed me in and shut it. Cole really pissed me of. How dare he say no? No one rejects me. Jade was right. I'll have to seduce him. As much as I hated this method, it got the job done. I needed his heart. And I will have it.

What could I do to get it? Seduction would help to get Cole to like me but I still need to gain his trust. That is key. It's obvious he's terrified. He saw us burn a house for Satan's sake! My anger has to be kept under wraps because I can't risk my powers going awire and scaring him off. Fuck, this is going to be harder than I thought.

~Andy's POV~

Jayy has been in his room ever since we got back from Cole's. He's really pissed off and is probably planning something. This should be interesting. Rose and Jade joined me on the couch.

"What's Mr. Anger Management pissed off about this time?" Jade asked, sitting in my lap.

"Cole said no to Jayy and made us leave. So now Jayy's all mad because someone actually said no to him. He's in his room probably trying to come up with a plan."

"Cole's in for hell now." Rose smiled wickedly. He sure was.

"Maybe I could tell Dylan to persuade Cole to give Jayy a chance." Jade volunteered. Maybe. I still wasn't too thrilled about Jade going after Dylan. If he tries anything other than kissing her, he's fucking dead. I seriously won't hesitate to kill him. Jade already knows this. My grip around her waist unknowingly tightened. Hey, I can be possessive.

Jade turned to look at me. My embrace immediately loosened around her. There was a knock on the door. We both looked at Rose. She rolled her eyes before going to answer the door.

"Oh hey Arien." I heard her greet. Jade scrambled off my lap. The two walked over to us.

"Can I speak with Jayy?" Jade went upstairs to go get him. She came back with a grumpy Jayy a few moments later.

"What?" He grumbled rudely.

"I'm sorry about Cole... He just doesn't trust people easily."

Jayy rolled his eyes. "Obviously."

"Maybe I could get him to come round tomorrow so you guys can talk? Get to know each other better?"

"I don't know if--" Jayy started but a look from me stopped him from finishing his sentence. "Okay." He said reluctantly.

Arien smiled. "Yay! See you tomorrow then." He skipped out the house. Nice kid. Such a shame I'll have to kill him.

Jayy looked defeated as he ran a hand through his hair. I'm helping him out here. He needs to get closer to Cole in order to steal his heart. He can't get close to Cole if the guy doesn't even trust him. Plus, the heart is far more powerful when it loves. And Jayy needs power. The last time he tried to go after someone's heart, it didn't end well and he almost died. If a demon goes too long without feeding off of a heart, they become weak and will eventually die. I won't let that happen to one of my best friends.
