"Cassie, wanna tell me what happened?" Lucifer said once the door was closed behind them

"Just the usual, Luci." Cas said, sighing and going to sit on the couch.

"Okay, well clearly it wasn't because you've never cried about it before and you've never missed school because of it!"

"They... well normally they threaten me with Charlie, but I know Charlie well enough to know that no matter what they tell her, she'll still be my friend."

"Okay, and this time?"

"I drew a picture of Dean the other day..." Cas waited for his reaction, which to his surprise, was just a head nod. "They saw it when I dropped my sketchbook and they threated to make Dean hate me too."

"But he's your friend too, Cassie. He wouldn't listen to them."

"I don't know Dean well enough to know that, Lucifer. He could have agreed with them!"

"He wouldn't do that, trust me Castiel."

"You know, you could just call me Cas. It's better than Cassie and shorter than Castiel." Cas looked down at his hands and blushed lightly.

"Did Dean give you that nickname?" Lucifer asked with a knowing smirk. Cas nodded slowly. "So, are you feeling better then?"

"Yes, Dean really helped. I was stupid to think he would be one of them." Lucifer ruffled his hair and went to the kitchen.

"Want anything to eat? Imma make something." Cas's eyes widened. The last time Lucifer tried to make something, fire departments from three different towns had to come and Becky finally got that remodeling project she wanted. Cas quickly took out his phone and called Michael.

"MICHAEL! Lucifer is trying to cook something in the kitchen!" He screamed in a whisper.

"Shit! I'll be right there, Cassie, don't worry. Get the fire extinguisher in the garage." Cas nodded, even though Michael couldn't see him, and ran to get the item. When he returned, he saw he was too late, the stove was already on fire.

"LUCIFER CHUCK DAMMIT!" Cas sprayed the stove with the extinguisher until everything was covered in white frost.

"Sorry, Cassie, I don't know what happened!"

"You're Satan, that's what happened." Lucifer went to make a remark but was interrupted by the door opening.

"I'M HOME CAS DON'T WORRY I'LL SAVE YOU!"

"Oh, hey Michael." Lucifer said in a chill manner, as if the house didn't almost catch fire a couple seconds ago.

"Lucifer. What did you do."

"NOTHING! Why do you always assume I did something?" Lucifer faked a innocent, hurt look.

"Cause you always do something."

"He set the stove on fire, I put it out though."

"Thanks, Castiel. Lucifer, how many times do I have to tell you. Do. Not. Attempt. To. Cook. Ever." Michael looked at him sternly; Lucifer nodded shamefully and kicked the floor.

"Wait, Cassie, what are you doing home?"

"You guys can just call me Cas. I would prefer it." Cas blushed and looked down, silently hoping Michael wouldn't ask again. Lucifer noticed this and looked at him with sympathy.
