The Next Morning
I wake up with someone’s arm around my waist. What the- Tobi?!?. I quickly get up and Tobi’s arm falls off me. I sigh and go into the kitchen. I walk in and Itachi’s sitting eating cereal. He looks up, and I smile.
“What’s up?” I ask. He looks at me for a second before answering.
“Nothing.” He says. I walk over to him.
“What’s wrong?” I ask, trying to figure it out? “Bad night?” He shakes his head. “Didn’t sleep?” Another shake. “Bad cereal?” I say weakly. He shakes his head again. “How about a hint?” I ask.
You. Pein. Closet. Alone.” He says. He looks at me and I blush.
“What about it?” I ask. He glares at me.
“You. Pein. Closet. Alone.” He growls. I shrug.
“It was a game, and I pulled Pein’s mouth ring out of the hat. So what.” I say.
“Is there anything going on between You and Pein?” He asks angrily. I look at him like he’s crazy.
“What?!?” I ask. Itachi storms off.
I put my face on my hands and a tear falls down my cheek. Deidara walks in, obviously mad. I look up, him glaring at me.
“Are you mad at me too?” I ask still crying. His face softens.
“I-you and Pein-I got-you kissed him.” Deidara mumbles at the floor. I wipe my eyes and get up.
“It was a game.” I say as I pass him, leaving the kitchen.
Later
I sit on a branch in a high tree and close my eyes. Jeesh. I think. The branch moves and I open my eyes.
“Climb trees much?” I ask Pein. He smiles.
“What happened?” He asks. I shrug. “Come on.” He says, I look at him, deciding if I should tell him or not. I decide to tell him.
“You know yesterday, when we were playing 7 minutes of heaven, and me and you went in the closet?” I ask, we both blush remembering. “Well, Itachi and Deidara got really mad. Itachi totally blew up this morning. And Deidara was going to.” I say. Pein sighs.
“Their such idiots.” He says and I laugh. “It was just a game.” He says. I laugh.
“That’s what I said. They think we’re… dating I guess.” I say awkwardly. I look at Pein. “We’re not dating, right?” I ask.
“Right.” He says. I stick out my hand towards Pein.
“Just friends.” I say smiling. He smiles back.
“Just friends.” He says shaking my hand.
Later
“IT-A-CHI!!!!!!” I yell running to his door and swinging it open. Itachi looks at me in astonishment, then glares. I walk across the room grab his hand and pull him with me.
“Where are we going?” He growls. I look back at him, still pulling him where I want to go.
“Shut up if you know what’s good for you.” I growl back.
I finally find Deidara outside training, I walk quickly and angrily to him, pulling Itachi behind me. Deidara sees me, pulling Itachi behind, and gets a scared look on his face. Don’t smile Yuki. I tell myself. Me and Itachi get to Deidara. He looks around wildly,, about to bolt for it.
“Do, and die.” I growl at him. I throw Itachi by Deidara and face them.
“Me and Pein are FRIENDS!!!” I yell, annoyed. “It was a GAME!!!! Get over it!!!.” I yell.
“Just. Friends.” I growl. “Any questions?” I say. Deidara hesitantly raises his hand. “Yes?” I say.
“Wanna go to dinner with me?” He asks. Itachi glares at him and smacks him on the back of the head.
“I was going to ask her that.” He says. Itachi looks at me. I look at them.
“No.” I say to Deidara. He looks at the ground and Itachi smiles. I look at Itachi. “No.” I say again. He frowns. Konan comes up behind me.
“Want to go hang out?” Konan asks me.
“Yup.” I say. Leaving Itachi and Deidara by themselves.
