I stare at him and he stares back at me.
“Why are you in here?” He asks. Before I can answer Naruto runs up behind me, and almost knocks into me. I spin around and try to pass him. He grabs me by the shoulder, keeping me there.
“Wait.” Naruto whispers. I look at him, and a tear rolls down his cheek. I lift my hand up and wipe away the tear.
“Who’s this and how do you know her?” Asks the guy, starting to get out of the hot spring. I turn away so he can get on a towel. Naruto doesn’t answer, he just stares at me.
“I’m no one, and he doesn’t know me.” I say, looking at Naruto while I say it. The guy finally has a towel on and walks towards me and Naruto. He looks between me and Naruto.
“Yuki?” Says Naruto. I look away from Naruto, to the other guy. He looks at me.
“Who are you?” I ask.
“Sai.” He says. I nod.
“Tell Naru- this guy to let me go.” I say to Sai.
“Who are you? And how does Naruto know you.” He says. Naruto finally gets his mouth working.
“Me and her were friends, but Itachi Uchiha came and took her five months ago.” Says Naruto, still looking at me.
“I wasn’t taken.” I say. “I went with.”
“You’re the girl who everyone always talks about?” Sai asks.
“Yeah.” Says Naruto. I push his arm off my shoulder.
“Who’s else is here?” I ask anyone.
“Sakura and Captain Yamato.” Says Naruto. I remember Kakuzu.
“I have to go.” I say turning away. Naruto grabs my wrist.
“Wait Yuki, please.” Naruto says. I stop and look at him.
More tears fall down his face. I walk back towards him and wiper them away gently with my hand. Naruto closes his eyes.
“Some one’s waiting for me.” I whisper. Naruto opens his eyes.
“Who?” He asks. I shake my head.
“What happened?” Asks Naruto.
I smile, but it’s sad.
“A lot.” I say.
“We can’t let you go.” Says Sai. I look at him and shrug.
“I’m not in the Akatsuki because I’m weak.” I say.
“Everyone misses you.” Naruto says. I snort.
“Who?” I ask. Naruto looks sad.
“Sasuke, Kakashi, Shikamaru, Tenten, Hinata, Kiba. Do I need to go on?” Naruto says.
“They’ll move on Naruto.” I say.
“You can come back! You’re still the same as you were Yuki.” Says Naruto, desperate.
“But I’m not.” I say looking at Naruto. “I’m not the same Yuki who was shunned, who feels like her life’s a cage, anymore.” I say.
“Please Yuki, Please.” Whispers Naruto. “I love you.”
“The hardest part of loving someone is knowing when to let go, and when to say goodbye.” I whisper.
“Let me go Naruto.”
“Yuki.” Whispers Naruto.
“Goodbye.” I whisper back.
