Part 1| Best Christmas Eve Ever

I stepped off the plane from L.A into the cold Denver airport. I walk through the area looking around my smile never leaving my face. I get through security. Then I take a deep long breath and walk out into the snow covering the roads and side walks. I was about to roll my bag when I turned I trip and fall backwards. I brace myself for the fall but it never comes. I feel two hands on my back my eyes slowly open my eyes and see the manager for cow chop holding me up from the cold concrete. "Hi" Brett says smiling at me. "H-Hi" I say. He pulls me up from where I was "I'm Brett" He says sticking his hand out. "I know. Im Dani" I say a little to fast. "Oh your a fan?" He asks "Yeah!" I say smiling. "What are you doing out here at the airport on Christmas eve?" He asks. "I don't really have anywhere to go." I say slowly. His eyes soften and he pulls me into a hug. "Im sorry kid." He says. A few tears fall from my face when he pulls away. "Wait do you even have a ride?" He asks again. "No. But I'll find one" I say sadly but trying to stay hopeful. He thinks for a minute then smiles at me "How would you like to stay at the cow chop house this Christmas?" He says smirking at me. "Are you serious?" I ask my eyes watering a little from the cold and from him even offering to help me. "Yes I am" He says his smirk not falling. "YES!" I yell jumping onto him hugging him. He laughs his good old laugh. "Alright Joe should be here any minute" He says. I shake a little. "J-Joe?" I stutter. He looks at me worried. "Yea like intern Joe?" He says. I instantly calm down  "Sorry Joe was my not so nice Ex" I say. He nods and he puts a arm around my shoulders. "What if they don't like me?" I ask looking up at Brett. "They will love you Dani" He says trying to re assure me. my head moves up a little more and I smile at him. He reminds of my dad before everything happened. I am snapped out of my thoughts by Brett tugging on my arm towards a nice grey SUV. I quickly grab my bag and drag It towards the car when I feel the weight of my bag be lifted from behind me. I see Brett holding my bag taking it toward the car. I smile at him and he nods then returns the smile. I was about to get In the car while Brett is putting the bags in the trunk when the driver side window rolls down. "Who are you?" The long haired man I knew as Joe asked me from the front. "I uhm Well I" I was stuttering when Brett came and saved my ass. "She's a fan who doesn't have anywhere to go on Christmas, I figured why not" He says to his friend who's eyes soften instantly hearing that. "Well you are always welcome at our house." He says smiling at me. I was about to thank him when a car horn cuts me off. I remember we are In the line to pick people up so I hurry into the car. I put on my seat belt fast as Brett is texting someone. "So Dani tell us more about yourself!" Joe says. "Well Im 16, my full name is Dani Farrow Owens. My parents are not in the picture witch is why Im here. To escape of sorts. I grew up in LA, You guys are my favorite YouTube channel! the reason why I'm kinda freaked out right now." I say. Brett looks back at me and gives me one of his huge smiles. "It will be fine kid. you are gonna be staying with me while I'm here. You can sleep in the bed I'll take the couch" He says "Are you sure? I can take the couch." I say. "Im sure" He says smiling at me. we pull into the driveway and Brett gets out then grabs my bags. I slowly open my door and see Joe waiting for me. "You alright?" He asks "Nervous really really Nervous. I'm about to meet the guy who I've been watching since I was 8 years old. Then the guy I was watching since I was 10." I say shaking. He pulls me into a hug. I wrap my arms around him. I think I might have found my new family. I then walk In to the surprising empty hallway/kitchen area. I go over to the couch and just sit there. I see Brett walk in looking around. He sees me and looked a little relived "Thought you ran off" He says joking at me. I chuckle a little and then he goes back over to the stairs near the door. "GUYS COME HERE NOW" He yells. I laugh some more then hear a few pairs of footsteps running down the stairs. I hear some whispering then some people walking down the hallway towards me. I first see Anna and Asher walk through. "Hi!" Anna immediately runs over to me and hugs me. then Asher hugs me. Brett then comes in so I grabbed his arm hugging it close to me because I'm so shy and scared. Then Trevor and Aron walk through. I hugged them both then Aleks walked out. I Instantly break Into tears. He runs over to me and hugs me tight. "Shh your OK. Your alright" He whispers into my ear. I calm down after a while. Then James walks out and I instantly run up to him and jump onto him and hug him as hard as I could. This man changed my life. When my dad would abuse my mom. When he would drink I could always get a smile from his videos. He has been there for me since I was 8 years old. He grabs me and holds me laughing over my shoulder. "So shes a fan?" He says through his laughs. I sob into his shirt. "Awe Kiddo your OK" He says. "I-I Lo-ove you" I say stuttering.  "Love you too" He says smiling. I can feel myself relax. "Told you so!" Brett says from behind me. I turn and look at him wiping tears from my face. "About what?" I ask. "Everyone Loves you!" He says getting up and pulling me Into a huge bear hug. "Brett need to breath!" I say. Everyone laughs and I sit next to Anna. "So Dani was it?" Aleks asks. "Yea" I say. "Tell us about yourself!" James interrupts him. "Thats what I was gonna say you dick!" He says throwing a pillow at James. James laughs then looks at me telling me to continue  "Well like I told Joe and Brett In the car. Im 16, my full name is Dani Farrow Owens. James laughs and then Aleks chuckles too.  Anna puts her hand on my knee. "Well Dani. I think everyone agrees, If you want to you are welcome to Join the CowChop Family." She says. Everyone agrees. "Hey guys. Im pretty tired  can I go to sleep? If that offer is still on the table for me to stay here with Brett till he leaves." I say. "Kiddo after Brett leaves If you want you can stay with us." James says calling me the nickname he started calling me I smile then hug everyone again. I then go upstairs and lay down. I play some Netflix on. Right before I fall asleep Brett comes In and checks on me. "Night Kid" He closes the door saying that right before I fall into the endless pit of sleep.

James POV

"So I love that kid" I say to everyone. "I think we all do" Anna says and everyone nods. "She's asleep" Brett comes down and smiles at us. "So James she latched on to you quick." Brett says to me .  "I know. Once I saw her I saw her I felt some type of connection to her." I say. "I did too. thats why I was so surprised when she said she had no where to stay." Brett says. "So I have a idea" Aleks says Trevor groans so Aleks throws some prop from our videos at him. "We should totally get her Christmas presents!" he says. "I'll Get the car." Brett says.  I smile at all my friends. "lets give this girl a Christmas!" I say to them
