The day He walked in

It was your typical Thursday, when everyone was sluggish and just waiting for Friday to come. I was sitting in my chair in the back, people watching, like usual, but more distracted. It was storming outside, and I absolutely HATED storms!

The teacher came back in and said "Quiet down class, we have a new student!" Which made everyone quiet down and look over.

"The new student's name is Errapel, and I hope you treat him nice."

Everyone glanced at me out of the corners of their eyes for a second, no doubt wondering how the new guy with a freak name like mine would act. I just wanted to know how he looked, not that it mattered anyways . . . . .

The teacher opened the door and he walked in. He had light purple hair and silvery-grey eyes. He wore white skinny jeans, black low-top converse, a white choker with a red gem like mine studded in it, one black bracelet, and a black t-shirt under a sleeveless white floor-length trench coat. He had striking features, so the guys instantly wanted to be him, and the girls instantly wanted to date him.

I quietly laughed to myself at their foolish ideas, which made him turn his head to look at me and the two only open seats on both sides of me.

Crap! I didn't want him to sit next to me!! I stabbed him with poison daggers from my eyes, but he ignored me and headed for a seat. They were there because nobody wanted to sit next to me, the infamous Eiddil!

The teacher said "Errapel will need someone to walk him around the school. Any volunteers?" she asked. Everyone in the class besides me threw their hands in the air and waved them like they were on fire.

Of course, this made her pick me. Great.

He turned to me and said "Thanks for volunteering to show me around. It's a pleasure to meet you..." He paused.

He had a deep rumbly voice that I could feel in my chest. I refused to look at him as I said "...Eiddil," and i secretly thought about how I loved the feel of it.

"Eiddil," he repeated. "Nice name," he said. I twisted away from him in my seat and ignored him for the rest of class. I showed him around for the day and helped him until he didn't need it anymore, and then I returned to ignoring him for a week.

And then the next one showed up.
