Mirror

I'm suicidal yet afraid of death,
I love the blood but hate the pain,
I love to smile but it's so hard,
I know where I am, yet I'm so lost,
Who is that girl staring at me from the mirror?
Who is she with those happy smiles and shining eyes,
So young and full of life,
Oh who could that little girl in the mirror be?
She sure isn't me.
The mirror cracks and the truth is seen,
A shattered smile and tearful eyes,
This broken girl stares right at me,
Who is she?
So familiar,
The sadness in her eyes,
Me? Who am I? Says the girl in the mirror,
I am you she says,
Suicidal yet afraid of death,
Love the blood but hate the pain,
Lost in your own mind,
I am you, that is who I am.
