Getting Ready

Y/N POV

Summer when by really quickly, I didn't spend much of my Summer having fun. I spent all my Summer at the cafe, working part-time. My parents left me when I was twelve. They got into a car accident and passed away. I was very young back then, I didn't want any help from anyone. I took many part-time jobs, so I could support myself and I have been raising money to rent an apartment. It took me two years to earn enough money to get my own place. I use to live in a tent in the woods. No One knew about it except my best friend, Jaehee. Her family would sometimes invite me over to eat, but they didn't know that I lived in the woods.

I finally got my own place and I would be starting high school really soon. After I got off work I headed toward my apartment. The owner told me that since I didn't have enough money to rent the whole apartment. He would be looking for someone to spit the apartment with me. I didn't mind that at all, because I really wanted to have a roommate. Jaehee wanted to move out to live with me, but her parents wouldn't let her because they couldn't afford the rent. The owner said that he would be looking for someone. I just hope that someone would be a girl. I got up the elevator into the apartment it was really clean and all the furnitures were neatly placed.

The apartment was really big. There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a huge living room. *shows picture above* The window had a very beautiful view. I could see the clear ocean and the light blue sky, it was a perfect combination. I sat on the sofa and looked through the window. Suddenly, my phone rang and it was Jaehee. I instantly picked up the phone.

"Hey Y/N-ah, I was wondering if I could come over to your new apartment?" Jaehee said through the phone.

"Sure, I was planning to see if you could come over." I said with a smile on my face.

"Great, I'll see you in thirty minutes" she said cheerfully.

I decided to take a shower before, she comes over. All of my luggage was already at the apartment. I walked into my room and took out my suit case. It was stuffed with clothes because they were my friend's clothes that didn't fit her anymore. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. After I finished the door suddenly rang. I quickly grabbed my clothes and slipped them on. It was a some running shorts and a T-shirt.

The door bell kept ringing and I ran to the living room. I opened the door to see Jaehee with a box of take-out. I let her in and she placed the pizza box on the table.

"Y/N-ah, What took you so long?" Jaehee asked with a questioned face.

"Oh sorry, I was in the shower." I answered looking at the box she brought.

We both were starving, so I went to the kitchen and took out some plates. I placed the plates on the table. Jaehee opened the box and it was pepperoni, your favorite type of pizza. *I'm sorry if pepperoni is not your favorite pizza* You guys were about to eat until the door bell rang. I walked up to the door and opened it. It was Mr. Park, the owner of the apartment.

NoOne POV

Mr.Park entered the apartment and you greeted him. He had a friendly smile on his face.

"I'm sorry to bother you this late, but I wanted to tell you this in person." Mr.Park said.

You guys sat down in the living room and introduce each other. Jaehee was sitting next to you on the couch. While Mr.Park sat in the office chair in the living room.

"I have found someone to be your roommate." Mr. Park said looking at both of you.

"Really, Who is it?" Jaehee said really loud and her face was really excited.

You told her to calm down and let Mr.Park talk. He looked at both you and giggled at how Jaehee acted.

"Well I'm happy to see you guys are excited for your roommate." he said with a big smile on his face.

"Yes, I am and my friend came to visit me." you said with a nervous look.

"Well, my son is going to be your roommate, because he is looking for a place to live and he is going to the same high school with you." Mr. Park said looking at both of your reactions.

You guys both froze, not knowing how to react.
