Adrien sat up in his bed. The loud bags outside began to make him believe an akuma was currently terrorizing Paris while he slept the night away. He shook Marinette awake and smiled at his beautiful wife.
"Mari, I think there's an akuma outside..." he began and she shot up from her resting position.
"Really..." she groaned,"right now!"
Adrien threw his hands up in defense.
"Don't look at me! Blame Hawkmoth and probably Chloé and that brat kid she raised..." Adrien began before noticing Mari beginning to transform, he soon followed suit and particles surrounded their bodies. Chat Noir and Ladybug took the place of Marinette and Adrien. They locked their bedroom door before hopping out of their window, they couldn't have their children knowing they were heroes. It would put them in so much danger, and neither of them wanted that. A villain going by the name of "Backstory" was before them. They fought him for what seemed like forever, before disaster struck.

Ladybug hunched over Chat/Adrien and began to sob. He had just jumped in front of a arrow to save his partner in crime and in life.
"Chat... please-anything! Please just...say...something!" She cried out. She sobbed louder as he didn't respond. She knew she had to defeat the akuma, so she used her lucky charm and stopped Backstory from causing anymore harm. She then used miraculous Ladybug to fix the damage that was done.
"M-mari?" He asked softly. She said nothing more. She hugged him tightly.
Her miraculous Ladybug healing power seemed to help Chat a bit, so she carried him home, tears in her eyes. She gently pulled the arrow out of his lower abdomen as he winced in pain. Their white sheets in their bed were now stained a light red. Adrien's transformation wore off, as did Marinette's, and he opened his eyes fully, only to see an arrow in Maris hands. He looked at his stomach and touched it gingerly. He winced back in pain.
"Mari. We need to go get medical help pronto." He said as he pressed a cloth to his heavily bleeding wound. She screamed in mental pain and woke the kids. Adrien winced as he tried to walk. Hugo, Emma, and Luis met them at the door with curious eyes. Hugo looked at his father and began crying. The blood was now rushing out of him, and Adrien was beginning to feel lightheaded. Emma began crying as well, but asked no further questions. All she wanted to know was that if her farther would be alright. Luis assisted his father to the car and watched as his mother drove him to the ER.
"How does that even happen?" Luis asked Emma with worry laced in his voice. The two sat on the porch of the mansion they lived in, waiting for their parents to return home.
"I have no idea...I hope dads okay..." she said letting tears escape her eyes. Her navy colored hair stuck to her cheeks as she cried some more. Her emerald eyes grew red and puffy. Luis ran his fingers through his sandy beach blonde hair and put an arm around his sister to comfort her. His sky blue eyes looked at her kindly and he gave her a side hug. Soon enough Hugo came walking out of the house and joined his sibling on the porch. His navy colored hair was messy and his bluebell eyes were red and puffy. He hugged his sibling close to him. He didn't want to lose his father, not now anyways.
