Happy smiles and big blue eyes

Ashley's POV

I stood till the afternoon but I knew I would have to get home eventually and start packing. I didn't want to go. THIS IS MAKING ME CRAZY. I can't leave max!! I love him and I want to be with him. Why can't my dad understand that. He can't just weasel his way back into my life!!
I want to die. My life had been nothing but a wreck so far. The only happiness is with max and I can't have him. If I just die I won't have anything to lose. No one will care. I can do it nice quick and easy. This way I can have some peace for once. I can see everyone i ever lost. It sounds nice.
*ring ring* I look at my phone. It's my aunt. "Hello?"

"Where are you we need to talk?!" CAN YOU JUST GIVE SOME SPACE!!!

"I'm on my way home. IF U EXPECT ME TO TALK TO THAT MAN WHO CALLS HIMSELF M-"

Max's POV

"Wait wait slow down what happened?!" I dropped to the floor. "I'm I'm on my way!!" That was Ashley's aunt. There was an accident. She was crossing the street and a car hit her. She's in surgery now. Please be ok. Please please be ok.
I made my way to the hospital to see her aunt, brother, and some other man. I'm going out on a limb to say it's her father. "Where is she? is she ok!?"

"Hey max. She's still in surgery. She should be out in a few." I sat down next to her brother. For the first time I saw sympathy in his eyes instead of anger. "Hey, man."

"Hey..." he looked surprised to hear me say something to him.

"Listen dude I know me and you aren't on the greatest terms but I do love your sister very very much."

"Hey I know you do. I'm sorry about the making out with your girlfriend thing. I didn't know she was..."

"It's all good man." I patted him on the back and noticed the doctor come out into the waiting room. We all quickly to ran to her.

"Are you the family?" Her father nodded his head. "When Ashley was hit, the car flipped her over and she had very serious damage done to her head when she had the impact on the ground."

"Is she gonna be ok?!?" Her aunt flipped.

"She is stabilized but we are unable to wake her up. I'm afraid she's in a coma. I am very sorry we'll keep her on the machines for a while to see if there is any difference. You can go see her if you'd like." The doctor walked away.  I cant believe this. She should've let me drive her home this is all my fault!!!!
I let her family go first to see her and I waited outside. What if she wasn't ok? I don't think my life would be the same without her. What if I never get to see that happy smile and big blue eyes again. This girl is my life.
