VELVET
planting kisses along her golden lining,
i can't remember what i was angry about,
your heart is wild and only i have the key to the cage,
love your guts,
tear-stained-cheeks,
there's not much left to say,
it's an abyss, the universe,
there's too much sugar in my coffee,
can we not talk?
i need a hug,
velvety skin soft like peaches,
it's a colourless world but somehow you seem brighten it,
my body is your canvas,
paint me in your most vivid colours,
i don't remember falling asleep under the covers,
smoke left on the side of the road,
from a heartbreak disaster,
no-beauty-no-grace,
just paint on her face,
i really wanted that rose-coloured life,
we've buried ourselves too far in our own world on this earth,
halo of smoke,
you're already an angel,
desperate blue sighs,
highlighting an inky mess,
intertwine minds with me,
skin so smooth,
this is my last night.
