Sweat poured down her drenched face, wet grass grabbed at her thighs, from past nights fall, as she ran across the field. She grabbed for her sword, sheathed to her opposing side. She unlatched her chain mail, around her neck. Tossing the burdening weight to the side, tying her hair back as it blew through the currents in the furrowing wind. She pelted to a stop, breathing as best as she could. After she pulled her posture into a stance ready to bolt into a bloody fight. Her eyes are eager and slice through the dark better than visible light.
Crouching down, she quietly tapped, swirled, and wiped away a pattern in a mound of dirt. The tingle in her fingers subsided, from the minor use of dark magic. The mound split apart, crumbling the earth away that covered the entrance, to the Undercover Fulfilment League. Here, the members train for war and battle. Along with many useful techniques for controlling over their required jobs.
A voice boomed through the silver plates blocking her path in the barrier of dirt. "You have exactly twenty seconds to tell me the correct password before, we close the hole and leave you here to be tortured, suffocated, and hanged."
She stepped sideways, avoiding any possible traps. Placing her hand on the plates -her palm glowed a dark purple around the edges of her fingertips- before the room started to shake and crumble to the ground. A bright light revealed the entirety of her new surroundings; people filing in and bumping into her; lots of loud noises. Quickly, Remoka speared through the traffic, heading straight for capital to inform her emperor of her mission results.* * *
An alarming knock was emitted from the foreboding door causing the guards to grow tense in their positions. The guards threw open the doors preparing for an attack, but quickly backing away after seeing her face. She bowed politely to the members of the upper-class council of Tashusho, their capital. Afterward, she made her way to the center of the horse shoe table, where books and old scrolls containing the written laws were stacked high. The table
sat underneath the majestic stain glass window, the only one in the entire facility. The walls were decorated with bows and axes, along with silver swords, from their greatest battles won.
She walked around back and forth pacing, not sure on how to explain. The room grew to an awkward silence. Everyone staring at her unsure and depending. Now, looking directly into the eyes of all the Tashusho, "I have traveled many days and nights to proceed with my given task. Walking great desserts, and searching the deep...." She paused to create a dramatic tension." At last, after returning various times from earlier failures. I now come to say, he has been found." Everyone glanced around the room, not knowing what to do as she continued. "Our enemy... or the so called good in this world will now take our wrath, after taking all of our precious children and taking them to join their army, and because of this we will take from them, what we have lost!" She started to yell. "Their headquarters, is placed in the Adakian, to the north as part of the sky, it was nearly impossible to spot, but we must also remember that we have lost our most brave and excelling warriors to this task of war. Now, take it upon yourselves to choose what we do next. I will though, tell you this, I plan on attacking, within the time rank. I was chased back by the army of the Elemental Shifting Conservation Society. While I was there, nice or not, may you believe, they did find me snooping and guards threatened to have me hanged. Warn the men for battle, and lengthen their training period. Because this war is going to be a massacre that they won't see coming. I am prepared to fall out as soon as their ready, and stepping up in rank, I have will take on the position of the last chief. There forth, I can and will move and train the army for the next battle of this nonstop war. I hope I have made myself clear. Now, with the permission of the Tashusho, I will head on my way." The council's members all slumped down in their seats, though one stood up and gestured to the large oak doors, nodding his head. With his long beard brushing the table and narrow eyes watching her intently.
She paced out of the room, feeling accomplished and proud of herself. While the council began to gather their scrolls and discuss the matter, all nodding in a bounding agreement of some sort. Their faces still astonished from the impact of boldness and courage the young woman had towards them.* * *
She jogged along a winding dirt path, far out from the other small villages in between the empire's realm.
